Title says it all, out of those 2 versions of the combiner wars torso design which one is superior? Which one mixes with random limbs better, which one is your personal favorite?

I have Onslaught but I haven't messed with him yet, but I will add in one thought: Hot Spot is inherently better for random limbs, due to the fact that there are are a lot more autobot limbs.

Also personally I could buy Hotspot taking on random autobots more than Onslaught, a military vehicle, using the Stunticons or something.

A real shame that we didn't get a wave of decepticon jets.

    Hot Spot.

Onslaughts rad, but at the end of the day HE'S the remold and suffers from having Hot Spot's guns (kills me they didn't make more "Onslaught-ish" Guns for the remold, would make Bruticus look SOOOO much better) and lightbars and a much less convincing alt mode thanks to the Bruticus head and chest wings just kind of hanging out there on the turret waving hello.

Hot Spot's Defensor head = firefighting station on the ladder is friggin' brilliant.

I prefer Onslaught, simply because I'm not a fan of the ladder on HotSpot.

Whichever one I can eventually find at ross for $10.00. But I would rather find onslaught for $10 than hot spot.

I find Hot Spot is stronger as the individual figure, but for torso duty Onslaught is just absolutely rock solid.

I'd say onslaught, better torso mode, heel spurs, less apparent kibble.

CW Onslaught. Even though the mold is the weakest voyager released in CW.

Hot Spot for the reasons above. Both torsos work well, but Hot Spot is better individually (honestly they're both good, Hot Spot is just better).

    Onslaught. Easily.
Hot Spot is okay, but the kibble the backpack makes in bot mode is obtrusive and needs moved for action posing. The torso mode also doesn't lock in as well as Onslaught.
The ONLY downside to Onslaught is that he has Hot Spot's guns.

Hot Spot. Onslaught's vehicle mode is garbage, Hot Spot's actually looks like a real vehicle. Robot mode is identical. Torso mode is pretty much the same, except Hot Spot's a crazier transformation due to the round-the-world head.

I like the vehicle mode. It's a big freakin' cannon truck, so it works for me.

I have no love for this mold. So much cost cutting, it really made me angry when it came out of the box. I look at my Hotspot and scowl. Will probably cut it up for customs.

Hot Spot's vehicle mode is less forced, but Onslaught has the heel spurs. Ultimately, I'd say Hotspot...even if he needs the heel spurs.

As far as torso's though, I like Onslaught better than Hot Spot.
