Thinking about it, I would want to know where the TFW2005 members got their start in the Transformers Franchise.

For me, All Continuities made me to who I am. The vast lore and in depth information made me love the franchise forever.

    The Beast Era.
I only started collecting during the Unicron Trilogy, but I didn't get to watch the shows at the same time, so BW and BM were my main source of fiction.

Beast wars was my first contact with the transformers franchise and i have no idea that show was a sequel to G1.

    The Bay films & G1...

I got into Transformers when I witnessed the 2007 film in theaters when I was only ten and then shortly after rented the original G1 cartoon from a DVD rental store which really kickstarted my love for the brand.

    Definitely Beast Wars/Machines.

Although Marvel G1 is the main reason I care about G1 at all.

And Bayverse figures are a huge chunk of what keep me interested as an adult.

    Definitely Beast Wars.

G1 had me hooked, but the Beast Wars toys- those were a HUGE jump, in my mind, from the G1 toys- when the BW toys came out: Lost my mind. Incredible products.

But Beast Wars is my favorite series ever- I've re-watched it the most.

Awesome series, awesome toys- everything was very well executed.

My first ever show was Prime.
Re-discovering it last year on Netflix got me watching all the other shows and comics.
Afterwards, Rescue Bots and NuRiD. So I'd have to say Aligned.

Generation One Marvel/Sunbow/TOEI...and by extension Marvel G2 and Beast Wars. (Not calling it Primax).

The Bay Films introduced me to the franchise. G1 introduced me to a bigger world with a massive cast. Beast Wars and Machines showed me that there aren't any boundaries. Animated rounded it all out and made me love everything Transformers.

Unicron Trilogy. I was kindergarten when I first discovered Armada. I "grew out of it" during Energon, but I'd still get the toys. And Cybertron cemented my love for the franchise.

But those are two different questions aren't they?
And your list is a bit incomplete.
    No offence.

The G1 cartoon made me fall in love.
Beast Wars was the two of us discovering that we can still thrill each other.
Fun Publication's Nexus Prime arc was us falling in love all over again.

Beast Wars was an awesome show and I loved the toys (even if I didn't identify them as Transformers for an embarrassingly long time. Car Robots was great and got me into regular transformers. Aligned got me back in the fandom after some time away and helped me discover animated which might be my favorite.

The 1980's cartoon and toys. My love for the franchise was rejuvenated by the Beast Wars/Machines series. And then again with the Prime series.

I remember Armada was the series that introduced me to the franchise when I was little. I did watched a few episodes from Energon when Blockbusters still existed (I did not enjoy it), then there was Animated and I did watched some episodes when it first aired (that was good), and then G1 pulled me back in. I might give Prime, Beast Wars, and Beast Machines a chance; someday.

Unicron Trilogy got me into it, but I went through a Star Wars phase during Cybertron, then got back in with the movies. So both of them, I reckon.

G1 and Animated. Although I like all continuities to some extent.

He's asking what CONTINUITY, not what era.

Beast Wars is part of G1 continuity. A vote for G1 is also a vote for Beast Wars. So you have your option.
