So I recently started reading a couple series because their first issues were free on Comixology a while back.

My first instinct is to buy every available issue and binge read them both, but I really should only read one of them until payday. Has anyone here read either of them? At the very least, I wouldn't mind a recommendation from your first impressions based on their descriptions.

I haven't read Rumble, but Arcudi is an excellent writer.

Meanwhile, I have read the first couple issues of Spire, which I picked up based on it looking interesting and liking the art, and I found it mediocre at best. The core concept is great, but the writing itself is super-clumsy.

So even though I haven't read Rumble, that's the one I would recommend, just based on having read a lot of other comics by Arcudi and his work always being solid and creative.
