I will put this right out there, I want Defensor. He is incredibly under-represented right now and I think he has one of the more interesting combined forms.

But I am curious what the rest of the community thinks. Vote for the next combiner you'd like to see from FansToys.

Defensor! That's the last combiner I have left and the last one I care about buying!

I voted Computron. Among the combiners he is the one I want most. It was hard to pass on Bruticus, but I realized what I primarily want is a FansToys Swindle, not as much the rest of the team.

I would also love a Computron and wouldn't be mad about that. I just want Defensor slightly more is all.

Either way, I am tired of the onslaught of Decepticon combiners being made. Get it, onslaught? I'm hilarious.

I am going with Defensor as well. I always liked him and think he looks cool. I love the Maketoys/ Yes model design of him. It would be cool to get a Fans toys version to match scale with all these other big bots.

I had the Maketoys version and loved it. Now that my collection has been culled to be only G1 cartoon aesthetic MP scale I am ready for a FT Defensor.

    From the list, Defensor.

My real first choice is Monstructor, 2nd is Victorion.

Fair enough and both are cool. I should have specified the list was G1 cartoon combiners.

Defensor. The only combiners I want are Superion, Defensor, and Devastator. Superion is already getting there and I can wait on Devy.

And as great as Devastator is we do already have a decent option.

I voted for Computron, but Defensor would be a close second for me.

Before spending effort on a new combiner, let's see how a FT combiner is. So far we have pieces of two combiners that the individual bot modes are excellent. No other company has come close to challenging Zeta. I am looking forward to seeing what a FT Superion will look like and compare it to Zeta, but as it stands right now Zeta has the lead and the company to beat regarding combiners, while Fans Toys have the lead with bot and vehicle mode.

Zeta may look good in combined mode but the other modes are not even remotely good looking to my eye. I can't afford to have more than one copy of each team. And yes, I do plan to keep some of my combiner teams uncombined. I like to switch my display a few times a year. Transforming figures having some in bot mode and some in alt mode.

Considering they are doing all of them, I suspect the next two will be Defensor and Bruticus at the same time just like Superion and Menasor. I believe we will have renders for both combined modes by the end of 2020. dalianjj said it will take about 3 years for them to do all G1 combiners, so I think that if that time frame is somewhat accurate, we'll need Hot Spot and Onslaught to release by the end of the year.

Defensor is such an obvious choice that I guess 3P companies are wary of jumping in.

Just like Menasor was the obvious choice 3 years ago and it ended in a 3-way fight.

But it may not be a problem at all as it seems as many people double-dip.

    FWIW, I voted for Devastator.

    I voted Devastator:
    1. Because they've already teased the silhouette
    2. Because while we have multiple iterations already, none of them are good enough for a G1 toon-purist collection
    3. I'll probably be getting all the US GI cartoon combiners from FansToys (specify that because I have zero interest in the Japanese continuity stuff) so it doesn't really matter which one comes next but Devy's always been my favourite combiner so I want a great toon accurate edition.
    4. Sh!ts and giggles because I know it will prompt howls of "we already have a million Devy's, I want a proper "x".:p

Difficult poll, I like other combiners like Devastator, Bruticus, and Predaking more, but I feel we really need a Defensor or Computron the most, and since my collecting focus is mostly on season 1 and 2, that makes Defensor the clear choice, even if I personally like Computron more. But damn if a Zeta scaled animation Computron would not look fucking awesome next to the Maketoys Headmasters and others like Ultra Magnus! I'd like them all honestly, and hope other companies will continue with them because at $600+ per combiner, I cannot see myself going all in, $300-400 with the option to purchase individually seems far more reasonable to this poor commoner.

Dalianjj just posted today what we all suspected from the beginning that it would take longer than he thought. It is in Malware's thread about wanting Computron. As much as I like FT I never listen to any date they give more than a month or two out because they are not good at them.

Defensor first, so we have an MP-scaled G1 aesthetic Defensor and can complete Season Two. Then Devastator, then Computron. But all of that only after they finish the triple-changers and Wave 1 headmasters (including the Autobot ones because they'll be much nicer than MT's and have fully articulated fingers).

    From the list, Defensor.

From all combiners, Piranhacon, Monstructor, then Defensor.
