Today this news came up concerning what's going to happen in Season 3.

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...90757-tfp-regeneration-promotional-image.html

It says that both good and bad guys will change sides. Which character do you think from both sides has the most poteintal to change sides?

For Decepticons it's likely Dreadwing from what's happening with him so far.

For Autobots it's a tough one. None of Team Prime seems to be at all intresested in joining the Decepticons escpially when it concerns characters like Arcee. Though it's likely that one of them gets controlled for a while. If it's willingly or by undercover it could be Smokescreen.

For humans now that's a tough one.

    What do you guys think?

I don't see anybot on Team Prime changing sides, but maybe Dreadwing well join the Autobots even though I don't much care for him.

Megatron obviously has the most potential to change sides. See how he defended Starscream from Dreadwing? He's really a good guy with an Autobot heart.

But seriously it's becoming increasingly obvious that Dreadwing is going to eventually turn with how they keep throwing this "HE HAS HONOR GUYS!" stuff at us.

I think Dreadwing will be hooking up with the Autobots.

Though I would love to see a Team Prime member join the Decepticons. Say like a mental broken Arcee just giving in to her dark side and joins Megatron's side. But I don't think we will be seeing a fallen hero in this series.

Perhaps Wheeljack, he's kinda been ousted by the Autobots.

Dreadwing's definately going to change sides.

And I don't see Arcee joining sides with the 'Cons.

But there's also one thing to consider. Out of all the Autobots Arcee has the most anger towards them and even if she did get broken she would rather die then to join the one enemy that tried to kill her friends. It would in a way seem out of character for her. I'm not it's a bad idea it's just a thought to consider.

    Certainly Dreadwing

Maybe Knockout will go rouge or something

Shockwave might think it "logical" to switch sides

Hopefully Soundwave is just waiting for the right time to betray Megatron and meet up with his bro Sideways

I doubt any of the Autobots would defect. Unless they take the characters in a new direction, I don't see it

Who knows where Starscream will go next

I think that Wheeljack, if pushed enough, could go from rogue to potentially becoming a Decepticon. Unlikely, but I mean, it could happen, I guess. Aside from that, Dreadwing, obviously.

Honestly, I bet that Dreadwing will switch sides, but just because of his hatred for Starscream. He would be less of a good guy than Depth Charge.
Autobots wise, I absolutely cannot see anybody becoming a Decepticon, aside from a new character.
HOWEVER, the Predacons sorta appear to be a faction of their own. If so, that leaves open more possibilities; Preds becoming Decepts or vice-versa. I also think it's possible that Wheeljack would temporarily team up with a Pred or Decept just to take down a greater enemy.
Wave and Ways teaming up is just too great of a thing for the writers to pass up. It'd be completely unexpected but perfect; Soundwave was also with the 'Cons from the start, and always been quiet. It's like they set it up too happen.

Wheeljack becoming a Decepticon wouldn't surprise me. Especially if Dreadwing does become a Autobots! Dreadwing did kill Seaspray, so we know its bad blood there plus IMHO Wheeljack changing sides would be awesome, it would be like having Armada's Wheeljack all over again!

    Just saying

I'd thought that too, that Wheeljack turning (at least for a bit, maybe in a situation similar to when Rattrap defended Megatron in Beast Machines, not really switching over because he wants to, but rather to achieve a larger goal) would be a nice nod to his Armada counterpart.

Dreadwing to the Autobots. Airachnid to the Decepticons because the Autobots don't give her enough to do;)

Maybe Bumblebee was Soundwave all this time? The real Bumblebee shows up with a voice.

I wish it was Bee just to see Megatron toss him off the deck of the Nemesis like a Vehicon but he has too little character for the switch to mean anything. The two most likely candidates with the least emotional baggage for the Autobot cause are those two most often mentioned, Wheeljack and Smokescreen

Dreadwing is definitely the obvious choice when it comes to any cons switching sides. As for the Autobots...I honestly don't see any of the current "team Prime" members going to the dark side. I imagine if we see any, they'll be new characters that we'll be introduced to in season three. I could see them pulling a Sentinel by introducing us to an Autobot, have us think their alright for a while, and then reveal that they've been working with the cons the whole time. I could see them doing that with Ultra Magnus...potentially.

So...Dreadwing shall become the new Zuko with his HONOOOOOR!
That means each Autobot will get to go on a life changing trip with him! :B
