If anything, mine has to be Prime, but I didn't include it there, since it's pretty much bayformers animated. So, I'm going with RiD.

I think the Japanese series would work. All the others seem a bit too cartoonish to work in a live-action feature medium.

Wish PRIME was on the poll, that'd get my vote.

Probably WFC/FoC, but I would skip live action and just do a movie in the style of the game promo.

These cartoons don't need a live action when we don't even have a good entry for the live action portion of the franchises.

But idea wise for concept to be adapted I'd probably would say the IDW comics. I haven't read MTMTE but having Infiltration made me think that could be adapated well.

I've seen way too many live action picture of G1 to not give my vote for it. If they made a G1 movie, I'm guessing the vehicle would need thing like license plates and sponsor logos to look realistic.

Well, G1 effectively DID, as many concepts, story ideas, and characters from that series have made it into the Bay films, but other than that... Masterforce.

The ones that would work best as live action movies are the ones without human characters (Beast Saga and WFC/FOC).

I'd say that the overall storylines of TFP, Armada and RID have the best chance, in my opinion.

Take the TFP Darkness Rising five-parter, add in a few things here and there to make the overall 110 minute run time a tad longer and that'd make a pretty good movie.

The set-up of Armada has "origin story" plastered all over it, very similar to Bayformers. "Set of ordinary kids, discover aliens, war begins, etc.".

And RID would be a great way to start in medias res. The Autobots are already incorporated into Earth society, an active part of law enforcement and rescue operations. They're no secret, but they're still like the FBI; show up when there's the threat and then disappear back to base. We don't know how or why the Autobots and Predacons/Decepticons are on Earth, but that would add to the mystery.

Really? I feel the exact opposite.

Precisely why I would want it!

I voted for Animated for the Irony.

But I'd like to see a Period Live Action G1 movie, set in the Mid 80s.

Or maybe even set in the year 2105

I think G1 (or one of the G1 incarnations) could work with a semi-direct translation to live action, largely because there's less to it's 'style' that is dependent on the animation medium, such as anime or especially Animated. Animated IS a cartoon to me - it is its name. :)
