So Hasbro releases another Bruticus. But how do you think it compares to the Energon Bruticus released in the Energon line?

I vote Energon Bruticus. Much chunkier and solid than that gangly mess that is FoC Bruty.

Energon Bruticus. Sue me. Didn't have much combined mode articulation and 5 unique molds but at least the individual bots aren't borderline frustrating to handle and Onslaught actually has something that looks like an alt mode. Both combined modes look shitty but at least Energon Bruticus has fun individual bots. I find that lacking with FOC Bruticus.

FOC Bruticus is great. Its the first true combiner (no added pieces, all different molds with robot and vehicle) we've gotten in I don't know how long and I feel like a lot of the flak it gets are from people with unreasonable expectations.

Even with the FansProject "Colossus" upgrades (and regardless of color scheme), Bruticus Maximus is still three Combaticons short of a decent homage... and while FoC Bruticus delivers each of the Combaticons more-or-less as they appear in the game, the combined form is a massive fail.
Between TFC and MakeToys, we've got modern Aerialbot and Constructicon sets, and FP seems poised to deliver the Stunticons as well; a decent update to the G1 Combaticons, however, has yet to appear.

    I vote neither.

i voted FoC because without the upgrade i couldn't deal with that energon franken-ticus. but i'd rather have earth mode gestalts with unique molds so i should've voted neither

    You really should have..

    G1 - Bruticus
    G2 - Bruticus
    RiD - Bruticus
    RiD - Bruticus (Ruination Repaint)
    Energon\Superlink - Bruticus
Energon\Superlink - Bruticus with FP upgrades
    Universe - Bruticus
    Universe 2.0 - Bruticus
Universe 2.0 - Bruticus with FP upgrades
    FOC SDCC G1 - Bruticus
    FOC G2 - Bruticus
    FOC Game - Bruticus
    New United? - Bruticus
New United? - Bruticus with FP upgrades
    Kreon Bruticus

At least this way people can vote for their true favorite Bruticus. lol

But to answer your question... I can't really vote since I have never had the Energon/Universe 2.0 Bruticus in hand, ever.. So i'll have to vote for FOC Bruticus, at least out of what you have asked for...

g1. most accurate figure to date. and doesn't look like a poodle on it's hind legs wearing a bruticus mask. fp Colossus is close second.

Energon. The major drawback is the lack of real hands and feet and being a tiny but skinny. Plus the individual component toys are great on their own. FoC Bruticus is an epic shitstorm with an appalling combined mode and horrible individual robot and vehicle modes. It's a complete travesty even WITHOUT factoring in the inferior quality plastic.

Edit: I'm comparing the toys on their own merit without any character attachment. In that regard G1 Bruticus is still the best Bruticus in that regard.

Foc. i really dont understand what people were expecting for an aprocimate 75 dollar toy. until fp and tfc get their shit into reasonably priced product they dont even count and should be damn thankful they havent been shut down.

    FOC Bruticus.

Energon Bruticus feels like it's just made up of drones with the name slapped on the combined mode. I do have to agree the make is much better though.

I don't understand the hate for FOC Bruticus individual bots (besides Onslaught and MAYBE Brawl) as most of them had proper good looking bot modes and alt modes. They were all different and yet be able to form either arms or legs.

FoC by far. Energon only with the upgrades, so that only means 3 molds to FoC's 5.
