Given the small hints about the existence of Batman in Season 2 of Supergirl and the series renewed for a 3rd Season, I'm probably not the only one who's wondering if and hoping that Batman/Bruce Wayne will show up in the Season 3 Premiere just as Superman did in the Season 2 Premiere. Bearing that in mind, the following below is a list of viable candidates who I believe could fit the role of Batman/Bruce Wayne. Scott Bairstow Justin Chambers Josh Hopkins Johnny Messner Michael Shanks Michael Trucco Richard Armitage Josh Charles Jon Hamm Josh Lucas Eric Mabius Justin Theroux Henry Thomas Sam Trammell Marc Blucas Matthew Del Negro Gideon Emery Adam Harrington Antonio Sabato Jr. Colin Egglesfield Victor Webster Kevin Durand Barry Watson Ian Bohen Matt Bomer Sam Witwer Lucas Bryant Eddie Cahill Jesse Metcalfe Justin Bruening If there is anybody who has a different actor in mind, please post it.
All those guys are too old. The hints they dropped said noithing about Batman being around as long as Superman. But seriously this is an exercise in futility as no Bat character can ever show up on a CW show.
we don´t really know that ... and even if it is true this can still be a fun thread on topic : either brett dalton or a long shot ... tom cavanagh wells isn´t really a character from the comic books, so making him a doopelganger of a famous character would be fun ... I have read the first seven names and the one that is called to me the most is scott bairstow !!
maybe for you it can´t ... but for other maybe ... and you know who else is never appearing on any cw show ? superman !!! oh wait ...
Superman who appeared in the pilot of Supergirl. Was mentioned by name periodically throughout the series. The show has a shit load of Superman supporting characters in it. From the jump Berlanti and co. have had the TV rights to Superman. Supergirl has always had the feel of a spin off from a Superman series that never existed. They don't have any rights to use Bat characters, barring maybe Huntress and Bludhaven. You'll note that while they can say Superman/Clark Kent and Metropolis, they've never directly mentioned or shown Batman/Bruce Wayne or shown Gotham. Which they quite literally need written permission to even say out loud in dialogue (they more than likely had to run that "moving back to Gotham" line from the season 2 premier up to WB big wigs for approval). The future news paper in Flash has had the Wayne-Queen merger headline deleted from it. Could this situation change, sure. Powerless came along after Gotham and both share Batman TV rights. If the CW DC shows got the rights to use Bat characters directly it would be hyped to Pluto and back.
