CHUG scaled Omega, to be precise. There are at least 4 MP scaled G1 style Omegas, and one Legends. KBB Devastator is nearing a year old, and I haven't heard of anything to scale with him. I'd be happy with a downscaled ko of any of the titans. Is anything on the way?
Of the currently available figures I would think Planet X Genesis or Master Made Apollo would be your best bet in terms of scaling. Unfortunately I couldn't find any pictures of either of them with CW combiners to be certain. CW Devastator took several years to be downsized, and it has only been around half a year since Siege Omega came out so it is probably 2 - 3 years before such a figure would be done, assuming it happens at all. Isn't the KBB Devastator he referenced the downsize KO of CW? If he is going with a downsized KO of Devastator he probably wants Omega Downsized as well since the Siege one is scaled more with the original CW Devastator that is several inches taller.
I agree that Planet X Genesis is your best bet for a fill in at least...they also had that Maketoys Add on kit, Armageddon I believe, that they made for the Year of the Snake Omega Supreme...that probably would fit. Other than that, I'm like you...waiting on a CW sized Omega. carry on...
Siege (...Chug?) Omega is five centimeters taller than Fanstoys (...MP?) Omega so I dunno what scale means any more.
I wish someone sold additional tracks for siege Omega so you can display more in base mode: My display gets cramped as I don’t collect legends scale figures...yet.
I like Siege, DX9, Fanstoys, and Wei Jiang Omegas, but they're all too big. A downscaled KO of any of them would be perfect. To me, CHUG scale is anything around the 12-14 inch CW size. MT Giant, Feral Rex, Poseidon, Quantron - all those work at that size. Those Omegas are a lot bigger. Genesis and YOTS Omegas are slightly bigger than I'd want, but close enough to work. But more importantly, the WFC style Omegas are a different character to me - not the bot I'm looking for. Huge Dragon is too small, and more stylized than I'd want, although he's a lot closer than the WFCs. Apollo is super deformed, WFC Style, and too small. I actually want one to go with Feral Rex, KBB Devy, and a bunch of CW combiners. Somewhat amusingly, Omega Supreme is the last biggest hole in my collection.
if dx9 had done the waist different and didn't have the hipskirts i might have been tempted to swap my ft one out for theirs as the rest looks great just that mid section mentioned always draws my eye in pictures it don't look right to me and yeah seige would probably be just right for you @TheRebirth
DX9 did Mightron in both MP and legends scale. Ive been wishing for the longest time they'd do it to Gabriel too
Appolon has addons kit to have a normal head. But if huge dragon is too stylised for you i think you will have a looooot of trouble finding a chug scale omega. Bobby skull face made an interesting video explaining the 3rd party chug scale is kind of dead or at least very small now
Because reality sucks, combiner scale has always been broken. Hasbro tried to fix it when they took their combiners from 12 to 19 inches, and I like both approaches. The smaller size - deluxe based - works fine as individuals, and the larger scale (voyager based) is good in combined mode. Tfwiki lists Prime as 6m, and Omega as 18m. If you look at MS Legends prime - 11.5 cm, that would put an Omega at 34.5 cm, or 13.6 inches. Hulkie, Apollo, Huge Dragon, IF Bruticus - they're all too small. The modern 19" and up are way too big. But that's perfectly in line with the older CHUG combiners. CHUG scale may be dead, but CHUG scale combiners are perfect with legends. Only problem - there's a gaping lack of Omegas at that size. These guys need their buddy:
That's Huge Dragon - you're right, he's about 9 inches tall. He's been mentioned a few times, but I'd say he needs at least another 3 or 4 inches to be CHUG scale. Most people use him with legends.
There are plenty of pics online, even video reviews from Emgo. BTW, u can see the size comparison between these 2 in Emgo's review. MFT version is taller than MasterMade version.
I've nearly gotten Huge Dragon several times but stopped myself because it's just not quite what I want. I very specifically want my Omega Supreme to be about combiner-size, maybe just a bit bigger. Huge Dragon is so close and looks pretty good, it kind of hurts that it's still too short. I'm not sure of the platinum edition Omega's size, as mentioned on page 1, but that's also not the version of the character any of us want.
