I have a few of the KO Bruticus-style feet/hand sets of various colors on my watch list on ebay, all from China sellers obviously, so quality is a bit of a subject I'm nervous about. Has anyone purchased these and can speak for them? I imagine all the KO's are of the same quality...maybe...but could anyone provide some places they've heard of or used to buy them? Sirtoys is out of most of their stock. I want to start with one Bruticus colored set before I buy them for the rest of the combiners.

Yeah, got a three sets of them, black white and purple. The only thing they lack is the Rubery straps on the bottom. Some people have had loose ball joints I think but mine were all fine. All from eBay, around £15 each.

 

I got two sets from user yanhuahubei868 and both were fine ($18.98 a piece)

 

Anybody have the pe KO cw bruticus upgrade hands and feet?

For whatever reason, I bought the hasbro set and kind of tempted to get the upgraded hands and feet but I'm also wondering if my money is better spent elsewhere...

What do u guys think? It's the set where the feet are color matched to the feet with silver hands.

Any feedback?

 

I feel like the KOs are actually better quality the non KO ones if anything.

 

Would you mind sharing what you mean? Sorry - I have never purchased any of the PE or KO upgrade kits for the CW sets - so have nothing to reference.

Kind of buying these as a lark, but just wondering if they are really worth it. Yea - they are only $20, but I'm just wondering if it's better to put it towards an IF figure or something. What does it add to the original figures?

They're tighter than the actual PE ones I've gotten. Some of the PE feet I got are loose at the ball joint and sometimes they split apart, yet I have no issue with my KO feet.

 

I can't find any general threads about the KO PE hands/feet so I'll try here. Sorry to res an old thread.
I recently got the silver/gray set for CW Bruticus and liked them so much I ordered a white set for superion, and a black set Volcanicus. I'd like to get a set for Abominus too but the purple thats available on the KO sets looks more like a Galvatron purple and not so much the Magenta needed to match abominus.

So my question/request is: Can anyone provide a picture of PotP Abominus with the KO PE purple hands/feet so I can see if it looks ok?

I don't have that set but I think you're right about the color. I have the PE set for all of mine and that sure looks like the Menasor (G1) set in color and it's as you said, very Galvatron purple. Not saying it won't work but it's gonna be purple is all.

 

Yeah I guess I should just be patient and hope the real color gets KOd. I just can't justify the $30 or $40 for the actual PE.
