Titans Return Sentinel Prime has been confusing me on where I should make him hang out.

On the one hand, he's an Autobot and a Prime so he should be able to hang out with the miscellaneous Autobots. On the other hand, he's a bit of an evil jerk in the IDW comics.

I don't think he really has any close minions or anything from what I've read of him, so I'm having trouble deciding where I should place him.

What have you guys done with Sentinel Prime?

 

Considering all my shelves are divided in half, one side Autobot, one side Decepticon, I've tried to put him somewhere in between but recently I've realized he is leaning closer to the Decepticon side of the shelf.

 

Don't have TR Sentinel, but I do use CW Battle Core Prime as Nova who is also a bad guy, and he is with the bots because I sort by faction, not morality.

 

I display Sentinel with my Autobots:

 

He's in the Autobot half of one of my display areas, but he's at the farthest edge cause the rest of the Autobots don't wanna associate with that jerkface.

 

Since I don't care for the IDW side of things, he stands with my Autobots as an unfaithfully colored (or resurrected and upgraded) G1 character hah.

 

Despite his portrayal in the IDW comics I display him with the other cartoon Matrix bearers like Rodimus, Nova Prime, Ultra Magnus and Alpha Trion (I know he wasn't a Prime, more like holding it for Optimus).

 

Yeah he's a douche in the comics, but he also hates the decepticons. The fact that peace was made with them is kinda what set him off to begin with. He doesn't have a problem killing autobots that get in his way, but I don't think he'd be caught dead with the decepticons.

 

Heh. My first thought was to put him by himself with his hands angrily posed over his head. I was considering throwing some of the Titan Masters around him, but with them all based on known characters that makes it more difficult for me to justify giving him minions.

 

He doesn't. I had no use for a prepaint of Astrotrain, the true intentions of that mold.

 

Hmm... my SP is standing cramped in an IKEA Detolf, between the legs of a cramped TT Fortress and looking at the butt of TT Bruticus crammed in front. Quite an ugly setup going on actually, not really happy about it, sorry no pics right now.

 

He's waiting on the floor of my closet for a spot somewhere. Maybe when SND's Nova kit and a hypothetical Apex armor upgrade for SP come out I'll give them their own badass corner of the display

 

I have the Sdcc version. I put him with MP-10V Voyager-sized MP Prime and TR Alpha Trion as a sort of homage to past and present Primes:

 

Personally, I think it makes for a terrible Astrotrain in all but Bot mode. It looks nothing like a shuttle or a train.

 

Well, I didn't buy him since I don't really like the character or the toy, but now you've made me wonder where should I put my nove prime, once I get me battle core prime upgraded as him. Maybe with Galvatron?

Well I put him in my Cybertronian Self since he is a Pre-War Autobot.

 

I have my classics toys shorted by seasons then i have my classic toys that only appear in comics, hes in there with all the other comic only characters.

 

When I get Sentinel, Hot Rod, and AT I plan on posing them with my Evasion Prime and Battlecore (Nova stand in) and a Cybertron Gold Repaint Vector Prime and ROTF Fallen that I plan to pick up as a "lineage of Primes" deal.

 

He's still in a box on a shelf in Milton Keynes or somewhere further north than that because I've never actually seen one at retail.
