Of course I’m referring to the Transformers “anthem” performered by Stan Bush originally in 1986 movie..but I have seen it pop up elsewhere most famously being sung by Mark Wahlburg in “Boogie Nights” In the season 6, episode 14 episode of “American Dad” titled “Cops and Roger” it was used during the training montage it was featured in the video game “Saints Row III” ( with quotes from the movie thrown in) Anyone else know where it may have popped up? ( though I still prefer “Dare”)
i remember an ep of bobs burgers did an obvious parody of the touch. i think the goldbergs used it twice; once in the ep where the son goes and sees the original TF film in theaters and in another ep i think
I haven't seen enough of the Goldbergs to give a tally, but I know they used "Dare" in an episode, so that might be what you're thinking of, since it's pretty rare to hear the same insert song used twice on a show. But I could be wrong.
Wasn’t The Touch played over the end credits of one of the games War for Cybertron or Fall of Cybertron? Or was it another Stan Bush song?
It appeared in Bumblebee (2018), when Hailee Steinfeld's Charlie Watson is about to try jumping into the river; the severed tone, between Bumblebee and the Bayverse amplifies the subtextual quality of the original 1986 movie, especially in the context of commercialism being the ultimate spirituality.
In Transformers and in places where the goal is to go "ha ha 80s amirite" because of its usage in Transformers
The Goldburgs has used it at least once. and in Transformers Prime it was playing on Fowlers car radio on someone corect me if im wrong "Nemisis Prime"?
