So like the title says, "where do you think silas got his scars"?
I may jst be to enhance his sinister character but it also might be relevant somehow
Maybe the Bots or cons did it?( although maybe not cos he though that the TF's were rumours in ep "convoy")
Maybe there will be a flashback in the near future

I think he got them from like a car accident or at least a fight.

A battle at the most but I think it's going to be explained in season 2 since it was said there will be a story arc for him IIRC.

His father was a drinker and a feind. One night he comes home crazier than usual. His mother got the kitvhen knife to defend herself. He doesn't like that. Not one bit. So, Silas watching, he sticks the knife into her laughing while he does it. Then he turns to Silas and says... Why so serious?!

Actually it was probably just from some sort of explosion. Their only real purpose is to make him look like a villain so ZI doubt they'll show how he got the scars.

 

Silas got his scars from a runaway lawnmower. Which is why he's determined to bend all mechanical devices to his control.

Possibly from a past lab experiment that went hay wire.

 

If I had to guess, he was asked to investigate a transformer. It probably killed his team and knocked him unconscious. After that, he wanted to investigate it and fight it with a Mech and formed MECH. He didn't seem afraid when a similar event happened in Criss Cross so I guess that could be a clue. It's probably from a war though.

 

I think I have a cool idea on how he could have gotten those scars.

He was once a second-in-command or high officer in a group that specialized in advanced weaponry and had a similar goal of being the next great power. Silas either got greedy or believed their leader wasn't using the technology in the best way for their goal/ not being aggressive enough towards accomplishing their goal. He leads a coup and takes over by killing the leader, but gaining those scars from fighting the late leader. He then transforms the group to eventually become the present day MECH whose goal is to become the new world power through cutting-edge advance technology.

Hey, if this turned out to be true, he'd have something in common with Starscream, no? Perhaps a reason to have the two work together towards something in Season 2?

 

Optimus Prime?!?!?? Did you even read the question? In my opinion, he most likely got them from an accident or through a fight...ooorr...he's had them forever, because it seems to be the norm that the bad guy has scars

 

Maybe his pet rabbit was full of rabies and it scratched at his face.

 

My guess - A UFO crashed near where he was, permanenty scarring him for life, and while he wasn't sure, that UFO was actually a Transformer, and as such, he's dedicated his life to proving the existence of living technology on earth and eventually control it, because no alien is going to get the best of Lex err...Silas
