Where do transformers come from? Please? I really want to know.

Hey man, not like that. I know a lot about Transformers, but I mean like babies. I'll ask again, WHERE DO TRANSFORMERS COME FROM.

 

Depends on the continuity. In general, the factory, same as in real life.

 

In which continuity? I'd suggest hitting TFWiki rather than waiting for someone here to churn out an all-inclusive essay.

 

I buy mine from Walmart, Target, and sometimes online.  

But seriously, lately I think it has to do with the Allspark.

 

Marvel continuity, they did come from cybertron. the planet literally spit the first ones out.

as for beast wars, a scan of black arachnia in one episode showed robo-ovaries. you're welcome for the nightmares.

 

Its actually a pretty valid question, one I've comtemplated a great deal for a long time. The only answer(s) I can provide are the following:

1: Primus. Plain and simple. Apparently a long time ago at the beginning of the universe this supreme being sent out two heralds (Primus and Unicron) to go and observe the events transpiring. While both were inherently good, Unicron succumbed to the chaos that universe presented and sought to destroy his "brother" Primus. In order to defend and hide himself amongst the stars Primus made himself into a living mechanical planet and comissioned 13 original Transformers to defend him. As for where the rest of them come from, I have no idea. For all you huge fans out there, I know I'm missing a great deal of detail...but I'm giving the sparknotes here.

2: Quintessions. In this other origin the Quintessions ruled/created the planet of Cybertron and built both a service model robot and a combat model robot (Autobots and Decepticons) to serve as slaves on the planet. The slaves revolted, kicked some Quint ass, and that as they say is that.

To be assured there are massive amounts of theories about where the new guys came from etc etc, and as for that I have no direct answer...but luckily Simon Furman is writing "The 13" and hopefully that will shed some much needed light on this topic.

the come from a lake in cybertron that becomes a hole on the bottom of primus' ass or a cube brought metallic rocks to life or liquid metal taking shape and coming to life thanks to a glowing orb.

 

The cyber-stork brings them. That or they grow in an electro-cabbage patch fed by a spring of pure electrum.

 

According to the last episode of Animated, blank protoform is inserted into a protoform mould (exterior armor), which it then grows into, at which point the All-Spark brings it to life.

 

Wow yea it really depends on which Transformers story you are talking about since it varies sometimes greatly from one story to the next. The spoilers even say that the movie universe is getting it's own twist of where they come from.

I try not to think about it too much because the next thing you know you are looking up robo-porn or something to figure it out. And I mean what if they were not like us and put things in weird places. That and I really don't think I want to see anyone transform their junk.
