Where did the Dinobots come from?

    Sorry if this is a dumb question but I missed it in the movie somehow. Where did the Dinobots come from? All of a sudden Prime just seemed to meet up with them, have a fight with Grimlock then all run into battle the cons.

    They were previously shown as prisoners on Lockdown's ship and Lockdown briefly mentions them. Their cages were on the portion of the ship Prime separated and flew down.

    Even with that, i think the movie could have built up their significance a little more so that there would have been more anticipation for their payoff.

    they are begin held in the section of Lockdown's ship that the autobots use to escape in.

    we are never given a good establishing shot of them in the cages so i can see someone missing it.

    Did you watch the Movie? lol they were in the Knights Temanos on Lockdown's ship which the Autobots hi-jacked to escape.
