so where did his gun form from?? was it the gas tank or something else?? he used briefly against megatron in TF1...

 

In TF1 he reaches for it from his back...

 

i recall that, but his weapon form from something which i couldnt see that well on the screen...i kept thinking it was the gas tank but i could be wrong and just asking for peeps info on it...

 

He just throws it in the same place he kept his trailer.

 

yeah in tf1 ya see the distance shot of him pulling the gun out, its clearly just sitting on his back but then its not there at any other part of the film, just a mystery like the trailer or maybe it comes out of his back like bees arm cannon

 

if you have the toy, put him in robot mode-those silver canisters on his back-i think one turned into a gun.

 

It's called ' sub-space'. That's the term they used in Beast Wars. Seriously, some things are better left alone. No need to question this & that bla bla bla does Prime have a grandma etc...

 

It was tucked up under the plating in his back. Its fully formed by the time he reaches for it and his 'shoulder blade' is moving aside as he grabs it.
Not sure what its made out of but it sits in his upper back.

 

I guess he stores it in a bluehole or plothole kinda thingy...

 

Correct me if im wrong, but i thought that all cartoon characters had a black hole in their backs that they grabbed from?

The two gas canisters on Primes back in robot mode turn into the guns. In TF1 when he reaches back you see it starting to form the gun

 

I figured it was always something like Robo-Cop with a compartment that stores the weapon until they need it.

 

when he activates the gun it forms and then detachs from his back

so inside his back basically

 

The thing is that Transformers can simply transform their weapons into their body deep inside and then unfold it magically whenever. Either that, or Optimus is stuffing his tighty-whiteys

 

I never ever gave it a moment's consideration.

 

It's made from the fuel tank on his back. Well, only a portion of it is the tank, the rest is in his back.

 

They are air filters.
