Every once in a while I see pics of figures with awesome effects parts for additional punch. Things like smoke billows or explosions. But I cannot find anything only to buy these parts only. They seem to only be included with figures I don't want.

So does anyone know where I might be able to buy effects parts individually?

    Where have you been looking?
I don't know where you are located but you can find effects parts sold separately in the LBX model kits series.
Also you can also find them as add on parts for different scale gundams.
I know that might not help but you might be able to find them at HLJ online?
Or you can ask someone who lives in Japan, they are quite common here.

Using Tom Servo's method, I create fireblasts out of dropping globs of hot glue, and clear paint in fire colors.

So there isn't any place that simply sells them separately then?

I can't find anything online about these LBX model kits other than a bunch of figures. Like I said, I don't want to have to buy a figure I don't want want just for the accessories. This applies to the Gundam models too. Thanks for the info though. I do appreciate it.

"lbx custom effects" | HobbyLink Japan

    LBX Custom Effects.

The Gundam custom effect parts are called something else and scale better with deluxe and voyager TFs.

Unlike the TC, I am not at all opposed to cannibalizing other, cheaper figures for their effect parts. The trash can always be sold for cheap on eBay, I'm sure somebody out there wants them.

The LBX effect parts are okay, but not particularly varied. Are there any good parts from other figures that I might find? Google is being of absolutely no help at all with this matter. Nor is eBay.

Yeah I can't quite figure out HOW those could be used. Are they muzzle flashes? Two looks like a stream of... something adult.

I think two are saber effects and the other two might be muzzle flashes. Or maybe beam weapons effects? I have no idea other then that.

The bottom two are muzzle blasts. The top two are beam sabers.
