I really have liked Delta Magnus's design and colours for a while now, but I've never read anything on him/including him. What comic/comic series includes him, and where can I get it?
Delta Magnus - Transformers Wiki He hasn't really done anything it seems. Never read any of the comics besides Marvel G1 but reading up on him on Tfwiki it seems he has done nothing more then make brief cameos.
There was an Issue of more than meets the eye with him. But he's really just a background character/cameo for an issue. Once in a while you'll see a Powered Convoy colored Ultra Magnys reference in TF media, but thats about it.
"Delta Magnus" as a character is a very recent creation to give a redeco of Masterpiece Ultra Magnus in Diaclone colors his own distinct identity. Thus, he hasn't really appeared in anything much yet. Prior to that, it was just a bunch of "Diaclone-colored Ultra Magnus doppelganger" cameos.
He was in *one panel.* He's essentially a background/flashback character that repurposes the original Diaclone "Powered Convoy" that was retooled and recolored into Ultra Magnus. The only reason you can buy an expensive toy of him is because he shares a mold with Ultra Magnus. But funnily enough, his comic design is more of a Magnus/Optimus hybrid.
He's in unofficial comics such as the KFC ones, only thing that comes to mind. They are also not worth reading imo, more just a promo for the toys. Nice art.
Giving the UM Diaclone a name/ his own character was the best thing that TTomy/IDW did for me. Since I only collect the character UMagnus, now I have a excuse not to buy the Diaclone UM color/Delta Magnus figures, lol. My wallet and room space are both happy. Thank goodness I only have 3 figures of Delta Magnus (G1 Reissue, Heero WST, and PVC).
