A complete DVD set of the series is available in the UK, which you can import with ease. You will, of course, need a multi-region DVD player.
wow pretty weak. Any reason they are not out in America? I thought it was one of the best TF cartoon series.
Disney have the rights to the series in the US, and Disney seem to have some kind of thing about releasing complete boxsets of ANY-damn-thing.
Sadly, this. Same reason why it took forever to get the 90's X-men cartoon on dvd (to my knowledge the spider-man series has yet to be released on dvd).
What would be the cheapest way for him to upgrade to or purchase an all regional player? Anyone know RID was awesome, would like to see him get ahold of it. Ordering the UK set would be the best way to go. Best quality, forget the pirated stuff
Any region players can be freely found in most electrical stores, alternatively google your DVD players name and model no. Some DVD players can be region unlocked by entering a sequence of button presses on the remote.
hkflix.com has a pretty nice selection with all different ranges of prices. You can definitely a decent one in your price range there.
Hey, I know I'm bumping an old thread, but I found all-region DVDs from Italy of RiD on Ebay and some other sites. Anyone know how good these are? They're only single discs of 4 episodes each. One also says it's of "The Film". It's not the first 4 eps, because that's another disc.
