Having seen some digibashes of Generations Arcee in cartoon-accurate colours, I was wondering if Takara's version would look just as good. But then I realized that we haven't seen anything from Takara on the Generations front for a while. Last time I checked, Springer, Blitzwing, Sandstorm and Metroplex all got their own Japanese release, but there are still plenty that are missing. We've yet to see Takara's version of Skids, Crosscut, Dreadwing, Whirl, Quake, Scoop and Doubledealer, not to mention upcoming releases like Jhiaxus, Windblade, Nightbeat, Jetfire, Roadbuster, Sky-Byte and all the new figures revealed at Botcon. Instead, Takara have developed an unhealthy obsession of repainting some figures for the Cloud line. Doesn't Generations take priority for them?

I have the Takara Waspinator & he's wonderful, but yeah they're a few that we haven't seen yet. Don't know anything about em tho.

It's movie season what did you expect. Generations always takes a back seat when new movie products roll out. Now if we don't hear a peep out of Takara by years end, then it's time to start panicking.

Armada Starscream they already did as well as Waspinator. In terms of repaints of those molds, if Takara wants to do them I'd imagine it would happen similar to FOC Starscream. Crosscut and Dreadwing I flat out question whether they'd release them. Skyshadow didn't get a release there and he was part of a Japanese only series.

You're right about Starscream and Waspinator, I forgot about them. Edited my post. Still, I don't see why Movie season should really interfere with their releases. AOE is an American film, yet it's not stopping Hasbro from pushing out Generations figures.

It's just the way things are. Same thing happened back with United. When a movie comes out all the markets worldwide focus on it's figures.

Sucks I know, but it's just how things are. Being a G2 fan I'm actually really crossing my fingers Takara does Jhaxius in his comic colors. If they don't do Dreadwing I'm hoping for at least a redeco as one of his other mold uses like BB from Beast Wars II.

Yeah, it's weird that they overlooked Black Shadow. Still, I will be beyond surprised if Takara doesn't release Arcee.

I wish we'd been able to see more than Rattrap and the rerelease/remold of the original BW Optimus Primal that we saw at Tokyo Toy Show. I guess we'll have to wait for another summer toy show and/or mag preview pics/solicitations to get an idea of what Takara has planned for this upcoming Legends line.

an American film? yeah, it was made by American's... but this movie is most likely going to make more money worldwide than it does in America. so, it DEFINITELY has a bearing on other countries.

it does interfere because the movie is HUGE.. and they're trying to push those products.

plus, some of those figures that you've listed were just revealed. also, takara tends to release their versions of these figures much later than hasbro does.
