Like the title says, what universe do you think of first when you think of TF?
G1...but only just. Nowadays the movies have had such a HUGE effect on the franchise I think it's impossible not to have them leak into your consciousness and perception of the brand whether you like them or not.
I used to think G1 but these days thank to the over-exposure to the movies, seeing marketing and movieverse toys and comics everywhere plus kids in park playing with them I tend to think of them first....even thougth I try not to...
Wish Beast Wars/Machines was not grouped with G1 in this poll. G1 is something completely different, esp. for a comics/toys only fan like me!
G1 with out a doubt.
G1 just because that's what I grew up with.
I started with G1, so of course I think of G1 at first. That's the definitive Transformers.
I usually just think of Transformers on the whole if no specific franchise is referred to.
The original Generation One cartoon will always be the very first thing that comes to my mind when I think "Transformers." I'm not necessarily claiming it to be the best or even my favorite, but it's the first thing that I think of.
G1 at first. Closely followed by my personal favourite, the Aligned Continuity.
G1...because for many years it wasn't called "G1" it was just "Transformers," and that's how I still think of it.
G1 shouldn't be grouped with BW and so forth. Yeah, BW does branch in with some G1 storyline, but it's a separate entity IMO.
With that being said I always think of G1 first. It's the foundation of everything and although it's not my favorite it is what everything is inspired from.
G1 without question
Prime, it's the definitive version of Transformers for me.
G1....I think most fans from the beginning will probably answer similarly. If not, I'd be surprised.
G1. American or Jap,that has to be THE one
though to be fair i like to think of it as a collective, rather than different universes. like different stories taken from different times and made into its own universe.
Separate names with a comma.
