It seems like nobody's too obscure these days. If we can get a Scrounge, surely we can get a Tarn from Hasbro and/or TakaraTomy... right?

    The question is when?

Best bet would be stalk online stores for new preorders for Mastermind Creations Kultur/Tarn figure. I highly doubt Hasbro or Takara will do Tarn or any of the DJD figures any time soon.

IF they did a Tarn, it should be as a Titanmaster. A Decepticon symbol head you can put on other Decepticons would actually appeal to even those of us who don't really care for IDW.

With the IDW inspired releases Hasbro has done in the past Im surprised Tarn has not gotten a release yet. He would definitely be an instant buy for me since he is such an awesome character. Im hoping 2017 might be the year of Tarn be it from Hasbro or Takara.

In the IDW Comics, he's the leader of the Decepticon Justice Division. His team would hunt down and kill anyone who has strayed from the Decepticon cause.

No, because then he would have to be a deluxe or have a tiny head for what you're saying to happen.

I could see pretty much all of them getting toys (mainly Tarn and Vos) but I'm not so sure about Hasbro making Kaon-he turns into an electric chair. Everybody else sans Vos turns into some sort of tank thing so they're possible.

Convention exclusive remould I'd say, if anything. If there are conventions in the future of course.

The MMC name is Kultur and currently it's selling out whenever preorders do go up for it.

You were asking when we might get a Tarn figure officially. I'm just being honest, I don't see Hasbro or Takara making the character. There's more well known characters from the original cartoon that haven't even been update yet and you want a character that's only been in a recent comic series. A lot of fans out there don't even know about the DJD.

If you want a Tarn figure for the immediate future (next ten years), save up and get the MMC figure. They are making the entire DJD team.

    Our Tarn.

It's not impossible we may get a Tarn from Hastak one day - he is about the only one of the DJD I would think they could do - but after recent events in the comic His "relevance" is going to decrease with the passing of time (no spoiler there right?) so it's pretty unlikely I think.

Which is a shame as He's a pretty cool design.

Find out for yourself. TFWiki's a thing. Google's a thing, etc.

    He's a comics character.

Mastermind Creations Tarn. MMC has great quality and are doing the rest of the DJD. A head master gimmick would be silly for these guys.

I wish I could afford MMC's DJD, they all look bloody amazing but, yeesh, the prices on them! I dread to think how much their Helex and Tesarus are gonna be because they're both huuuge.
I'd like to think official DJD figures could happen someday, I've no idea when would be right to do them though, or if there'd be enough demand for them as mainstream toys rather than niche 3rd Party offerings, so I dunno, but I think I'd lean more towards "we'll be lucky to see any of them in official toy form any time soon".

A character from IDW's TF comics. The short version is he lead the Decepticon Justice Division; was undyingly loyal to Megatron and the Decepticon cause (until Megs finally renounced Decepticonism and became an Autobot, he then swore to destroy Megatron for being a big ol' phoney in his eyes); wore the Decepticon symbol as a mask, and was a sociopathic murderer who thought himself a sophisticated intellectual.
Also he could talk people to death, as in literally make their sparks explode by talking to them.
    He looked like this...

Or, you could use him on a customized Voyager Megatron. Win-win.
