I cannot believe how tight the lid has been kept on these figures. Those of you guys who got to see the pictures probably dont even accurately remember what they look like by now!

Any guesses? They are still slated for production, right?

 

They aren't scheduled until fall of 2006. So we have some time before we can expect to see anything.

 

Fall 2006 probably means late summer when they start trickling out to stores, which means we'll probably start seeing test shots on ebay in another 3 months or so. Maybe sooner.

 

I notice a severe lack of unpainted/painted test shots lately... Even half the in-packaging pics we see these days have been officially provided by Hasbro.

 

I'm sure that we'll see them as part of Hasbro's "news and official photos from Botcon". Which are seemingly on track to be revealed sometime after Botcon '06.  

 

I seem to remember that test shots were shown at Botcon '05.

See, what you guys who weren't at Botcon don't realize is that they don't really look anything like Optimus Primal or Megatron at all. They really look like these guys:



Tell me you all wouldn't buy Transformers of Hall and Oates, I dare you.

 

I don't. Not saying they didn't show them (..did they?), but if they did, I've managed to completely forget what they looked like, unlike say Li'l Unicron.

 

They were, but they haven't been shown outside of Botcon. So no one who didn't go to Botcon has been able to see these guys.

I'm looking forward to Toyfair 06 more than I'm looking forward to Christmas. I hope they showcase some cool new stuff, including the new Primal and Megatron

I meant i want to see those repaints. We've seen test shots of Dinobutt but what about Rattrap and Tarantulus. I want to see some pics on the new repaints of them...
