Being that 2015 isn't too far away when should we see more news about the 2015 combiners? Botcon and toyfairs over sdcc is that the next big event?

 

Maybe SDCC, yeah...but I'm not holding my breath.

I think we will be lucky just to see the Superion outside of a silhouette. More information is welcomed, but not particularly likely. Maybe some name drops.. who knows.

 

Sdcc is towards the end of july maybe better shot of superion but i doubt more 2015 reveals the others will probably pop up on order listings eventually

 

I still wanna know what the leader jet fire is gonna be remolded into... but you know i want to see that superion too  

 

Usually we do see next years product at this years SDCC. That's been the pattern for past years. I mean, if they don't reveal it at SDCC, what do they have next? Nothing. The only other event is Toy Fair, but that's in February, in which case the toys will already be out.

So logic dictates, they will announce them at SDCC.

 

I'm still trying to find where they say anything about year of the combiners I have seen the silhouette and it's not like I don't believe it but it seems to have got lost in whatever coverage people had made.

Anyone have a link to it?

 

Ok this was the answer i was looking for   and todzilla85 i could actually see a dark jetfire but they could go another character like a.seeker

Just being pedantic but they never said 'year of the combiner' they said 'the theme for next year'.... and put up the silhouettes, weren't allow to say anything else - see Vangelus' interview with top Hasbro guy for the reasons.

 

People are going to be so disappointed when it turns out to be "Year of Airplanes" or something.

 

There was a helicopter silhouette as well so has to be either combaticons or protectobots too.

I hope to see pictures at SDCC, and I'm hoping they announce more Combiners in 2015.

 

Hopefully they step up the design process for combiners if they really intend to release several of them...FoC Bruticus was a joke.

 

His biggest issue was a torso that was too small. If they'd doing what people suspect, using Voyagers for the torsos, then they'll be better.

 

From what people are saying, it seems that the new generations Voyager Optimus could possibly be repainted into a Motormaster torso.

 

Speak for yourself. Something like that would make me absolutely ecstatic.
