That's what I need to know, because twice now I've gone to the only WM in my area that seems to be getting the new Alts, and twice all I've only seen is one freaking Tracks left. That pretty much tells me that I've got a scalper on my hands :mad

So when does WM usually restock the Alternators? Gotta beat that sonuvabitch to a Skids :stick:

Walmarts usually restock late at night so it's best to be there right when they open in the morning. Now if it's a 24 hour Walmart then it's best to go late at night while they are putting out the new toys.

This one isn't a 24 hour store, so I'm prepared to hit it when it opens. Just need to know when, cuz I know they don't restock the toy isle every night.

My store restocks whenever they feel like it. I've seen them restock close to 10pm, I've seen them restock at 1pm. :T

Your best bet would be to go in towards closing (assumign they close at 11, anywhere from 8:30-10:30) to see if they have hasbro boxes out. Feel free to rip into the boxes or wait til the next morning to go.

There's no set time when they put TFs out although stores tend to restock when there are less people in the store.

Mine does it around 11 pm to 3 am but one word of advice open the boxes yourself as Walmart employees don't put everything out. I have seen them hold a box wait for a person to come and give them the hard to find toys. I go now around 2 am and open the cases and grab what I want before they do and of course there will be others doing the same.

My WM had hardly any toys on the 24th, and then I go on the 26th and they had one Alt Tracks left......I'd like to beat someone's rear end!

In my experience (24 hours stores), Wal-Mart generally restocks what they have between 11:00pm and 1am. Now, they don't always get new TF stock in, so you have to continue checking. The only time this hasn't held true for me was the BW anniversary figures. I was looking for them on the aisle around 11am and up walks a stocker with the box of them :D

I haven't seen a WM that actually closed at night in years. I alwaysalways go between 11pm-2am, after work (I get off between 11pm and 12am), and find stuff still on the pallets or juuust put out on the pegs. Not just TFs, but SW, ML, SMC, etc., etc.

Yeah they change their schedule all the freakin' time. During most of the Armada era I was able to keep up to date easilly because they'd restock early Wednesday mornings so I'd go after midnight or early Thursday (I had no life back then, I know) and get the new stuff when they'd barely put it out on the racks...now they do it when ever they want and they haven't touched anything since before Christmas. I take that back...they decided to overflow the Fantastic 4 stuff onto the pegs still marked for the TF deluxes

My WalMart restocks when they damn well feel like it. They are one that closes at 10pm so sometimes I go at 5pm and there are palettes out, sometimes at 9pm. Personally i think it's whenever they feel like unloading the truck. Of course toys actually have to be on the truck which brings me to my second problem with my WM...

I actually find that mine seems to stock boy's toys somewhere around 6-7 pm on weekdays, and sometimes in early afternoon. Early morning trips rarely net anything at all, it always seems to be when I'm there for something else like groceries and just happen upon new stuff.

I should note that I found the new Alts last night at ~12am...as usual. In my experience, going in the morning will likely net you squat, since fools like me, not necessarily greasy scalpers, were there late last night. I never go to WM during the day unless it's absolutely necessary, but on the rare occasion, I've never seen pallets out and about, though maybe the occasional random case/individual restock.
Last night, I put Prowl and Tracks in the right place (more or less, considering this is WM) on the shelf, so I imagine somebody came trundling in this morning at like 8am and found just those two and was understandably upset.

You and me both. I just know whose doing it too, this damn comic shop down the road. Whenever new MLs, Star Wars, other high demand items come in stock around the area at that WM and the TRU down the road, they're there cleaning them out to resell at double the price at their shop :mad

For most of the Wal-marts I've been to late at night, they seem to stock up around 1 p.m., but like other people have said, times may vary.

Look for the small square box. Stockers don't seem to mind if you get the box you want and open it, just as long as you don't mess up their pallet and let stuff fall.

But I feel your pain on the scalpers. It may not necessary BE scalpers this time - just cats like you and me who want to get figures they don't already have.

I hate scalpers, man. That's just messed up. I can't do that to another person (even if I don't know them).

Hope you find figures you're looking for.

It might be, it might not. It's hard to say. But a single Tracks as the only thing left both times makes me lean towards thinking it's a scalper.

You know what really gets me about scalpers? If you've got the cash to go in and clean a store out of $20 figures on a regular basis... then why are you even scalping in the first place? It boggles the mind.

Interesting how quick people can be to blame scalpers. Couldn't it just as easily be that the case contains 2 brand new figures, 1 figure that had been in one previous wave but most people hadn't found yet, and 1 figure that most hardcore collectors bought over a year ago? It makes perfect sense to me that a lot of people would be finding only a Tracks left, because as a collector I know I would buy the 3 toys I didn't have, leaving the one I did. I mean, hell, isn't that the very thing you guys WANT to do but can't because somebody beat you to it? Are YOU a scalper because you'd buy 3 of the 4 figures in the case? Of course not. Odds are just as good or better that another collector just got there before you.
