When do you think the Bumblebee sequel could be released and would you like to see Hailee Stienfeld and John Cena back?

Doesn't even mention this supposed "possible release date", so you should make it "Should there be a Bumblebee 2?" or something

I would guess Christmas 2021. 2020 seems too soon, unless they're getting ready to film in a few months (which I doubt is the case). It could be 2022, but I'm not sure they'll wait that long (I hope they don't, at least).

On a side note, I really hope they switch back to summer release dates. Bumblebee was obviously intended to be a summer movie, it felt weird watching it in the middle of winter. Transformers is just one of those series' that feels like a summer thing (same with Star Wars, I hate the Christmas release dates those have been getting too). Big adventures movies that take place outdoors should be summer movies. But I have a feeling they'll stick to Christmas for a while.

It's a theater/Hollywood executive thing to put certain movies at the end of the year. Star Wars, Disney, and holiday themed movies are the go-to movies for the holidays with family and friends, but there are also exceptions. Movies that are uncertain to succeed like Bumblebee, Mortal Engines, and more are placed in either December or January (aka "Fuck you it's January!") the certainty that should they fail future movie plans can be salvaged and Paramount would not take a massive hit vs say releasing it around the time of Endgame or the new Godzilla. But since Bumblebee DID do well with sales and great reviews in the onslaught of Aquaman, Mary Poppins Returns, and Spiderverse, it can go on to do better for potential sequels with bigger budgets and fresh new eyes. Hell since it did settle well with people my guess is that Bee 2 will be back on the Summer schedule where Bayformers would be around June or July. Solo was dumb to put it by Infinity War which is why that failed and Bumblebee would fare much worse.

Earliest would be 2021. Anything beyond that is pure speculation.

Date of release at Christmas more than unlikely for the big movies that will open at Christmas:
    2021-Avatar 2
2022-Star Wars Film and Aquaman 2
    2023-Avatar 3
    2024-Star Wars Film
    2025-Avatar 4
    2026-Star Wars Film
    2027-Avatar 5

Solo 2020 would be free but it's It's almost impossible to have a Transformers movie so early, well if it were Paramount I would not go back to the summer dates nor would it go more for dates between January- March or September-November is the most feasible, since although Bumblebee was a financial success for the study maybe without the competition of Aquaman, Mary Poppins or Spiderverse things could go much better I hope that BB has recovered the will of the people and we see TF again at the top of the world box office.

As much as I like both Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena, I have to side with Travis Knight when he explained why Charlie parted ways with BB at the end of the movie. We don't always need to revisit certain characters, and basically Charlie's story has already concluded.

Also, even though BB was a good start at veering away from the previous 10 years, ultimately I feel a complete reboot may need to happen. . Especially since there was still some franchise fatigue when BB came out. . .And there's that new Transformers series coming out on Netflix, too. . .May be good for the films to take a break for a few years. . .

I really hope that Paramount will surprise us and make another Transformers movie before Bumblebee 2 maybe the prequel in Cybertron that no shooting needs since it will be Full CGI

For several months now there have been no news about the Transformers films, any of them know when Hasbro /Allspark or Paramount could give something official about the future of the Universe of Transformers in the Cinema, maybe in the Comic Con?

Tough to say because it seems like they are in a bit of a rough spot. Bumblebee did well at the box office so there should be a strong temptation to keep elements from that movie. But on the other hand it didn't exactly burn up the box office so there are strong forces for more drastic change.

I'm taking a guess here but I think they are going to wait until they have a solid idea of where the franchise is going.

The last movie came out just five months ago...

we won’t hear anything big until 2020 as that is when Paramount is announcing upcoming films and releasing new ones.

Overall 2019 is a quiet year for Paramount.

The next thing right now is that new Netflix series that comes out next year. We will probably get LOADS of info on that in the next six months.

Not until next year at the earliest. Impatience is never rewarded in this franchise.
