So, we all know Hasbro has some more waves of DoTM figures to sell, and other figrures they haven't even announced. What are the conventions or sites that Hasbro might be announcing things like this (Conventions like SDCC and such) that are coming up? Thanks!

Botcon & SDCC have already happened and the new figures have been announced. No more since.

 

Echoing what Megatronwp38 said, pretty much everything's been announced at BotCon and SDCC. and the items that were announced pretty much cover it up till 1st quarter of 2012..

From Generations to TF Prime...

 

There should be at least a couple more waves after wave 6. Remember,there's still those Shockwave repaints to think about. I think Hasbro's just trolling us

Could easily be part of the last wave of Voyagers that come with the last wave of deluxes, however. They could also be just retailer exclusives.

 

Yeah,but 6 waves would be awfully short. As for deluxes,there is still Evac who I'm sure isn't a Prime figure.

 

It's been ages since he uploaded his Starscream review,and even then he said he was getting Arcee soon. What happened to that?

 

There's Evac, who I think was supposed to come out in February or March of 2012. I doubt that he'd be the only new mold in his wave, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are more figures in it. Hopefully, we'll also get a HFTD-type line after DOTM. Aside from new molds like Mirage, Crowbar, and Hatchet, there are also quite a few repaints I want to see.

 

Wave six has been released... Usually there's like 8, right? There must be more, none that I know of. I was asking when and where a new wave might be announced by Hasbro.

 

I pretty much think the last wave is 6,with Air Raid in the lineup.I think Hasbro is just sick and tired of the movies and figs,hence why they are releasing Prime in november,so I think in a month or so if we even get the last wave or so of DOTM (but going by reputation,the last waves are usually scarce or unholy hard to find) that we have seen the last of movie figures.

Also for all those fans that wanted Leader Megs and Shocky I think the only way your gonna get one now is if you kitbash them.I really hope I'm wrong tho,but I just think that news from SDCC and others was a clear indication Hasbro was just plain tired of the movies.

 

Just wave 5 is out, the one with Air Raid, Armor Topspin.... Wave 6 is Que and Soundwave.

 

You're right, yeah. So, wave 6 has been announced. There were at least 4 more for the other two movies! There HAS to be more! Look at human alliance, they haven't released a Carly figure yet.. Would Hasbro be that dumb to not release a Carly with anything? I don't care for the HA humans, but they wouldn't just not release a main character... my indication there MUST be more coming.

 

Last i remember Wave 5, Topspin repaint, Air Raid and Dark Steel, along with Wave 6, Soundwave and Wheeljack were announced.

Last Deluxe wave i remember being released was 4... Cyberfire BB and Specialist Ratchet.

If i'm wrong, i'm sure somebody will correct me.

"Sick" may not be the word, but for the forseeable future, movie toys have about run their course.

It goes without saying that some are more likely to contend they outstayed their welcome.

Ya I was really Hoping for more waves, but it seems like Hasbro wants to push aside the movie figures and really is putting a poor effort into the figures. I mean , IF you look at wave 5, we have a topspin repaint ( a poor one at that) and an Air Raid figure, when the could have made Dino or one of the dreads. Whats most annoying is that Hasbro won't definitely say, no more figures of movie verse. As they have stated no more DOTM, yet that doesn't mean the end...the ambiguity is annoying ;P.
In regards to HA, unfortunately, soundwave looks like the end, as they said they won't be making any more, Even more disappointing.
As for the past two movies, sales were higher andHasbro knew after Tf 2007 there would be another movie, so they made Allspark power, after they made ROTF they knew there was a 3rd, so they made HFTD and NEST. But now, they don't know if there is a 4th. So while it is true that they must release more waves for the past 2 movies, not for DOTM.Wow I sure do type alot ;P

Ya , Wave 4 has been released, and is some areas, wave 5 is. Unfortunately, I just started seeing figures, where I am, from wave 3 ;P

 

There might be a sub-line after but who knows. I all I know is if people don't get a Mirage there will be a fan riot all across the globe.

 

They'll rarely say yes or no on anything beyond telling us what's due in the next few months.... Frustrating...... but given how competitive the toy industry is i can understand it......but STILL Frustrating.

Products usually slow down in the first quarter though...i'm not sure what they're going to do Dec-March.
