I just watched Game Informer's tour of High Moon Studios, over at gameinformer.com. I paused it while they where in some of the design offices to get a glimpse at some of the character designs and I noticed what looks like Sunstreaker and difinately Wheeljack.
I'll watch it again so I can tell you guys about how far into the video this is.

 

That's Swindle, not Sunstreaker.

 

OK I just watched the video again. If you pause it right after he takes you into the "concept department" with 2 minutes 15 seconds left you will see a yellow TF that looks alot like Sunstreaker and just to the left of that poster is wht has to be Wheeljack.

 

Swindle, are you sure. It looks an awful lot like Sunstreaker to me, but it does look a bit "off" to be Sunstreaker though.

That IS Wheeljack to his left though.

remember... swindle is a combaticon and well that yellow bot does not look like a combaticon looking bot to me   also... remember, we already have one combaticon coming over from the first game in Brawl.

That pic with Wheeljack (who im calling Sunstreaker) and Arcee next to them is showing 3 of the main playable characters from the bot side (just my opinion)

 

I am also pretty sure that bot looks more like it would turn into a jeep-type vehicle than a sports car...IMO...plus, they have to have the guys that form bruticus...Swindle

 

It's most definitely Swindle. The head looks nothing like Sunstreaker, and the build looks like he would turn into the Jeep-like thing we've seen in the background of one of the pictures.

 

Plus he has purple on him, which automatically rules out Sunny.

to be honest it looks more like pink/red than purple to me, but the wheels look like they belong on more of a jeep-type vehicle.

 

Kinda hard to tell who it is, might be Sunstreaker, but I'd need to take a closer look to check for the Ear-things.

 

I'm calling that as Swindle, the face looks too malevolent to be an Autobot.

 

It DOES have Sunstreaker's ear-things! They're just more like jet intakes now.

 

Plus it has yellow eyes....WFC pretty much followed the g1 eye colors, plus that almost looks like a purple decepticon logo on his chest, right on the very small end piece that is yellow...

 

Swindle has huge eyes, as does this character (though they should be purple). He also appears to be glaring, gritting his teeth and posed as though he's about to punch you, the whole look is much more villainous than heroic - finally, his build is too hulking to be a car.

 

Guys he has purple on him. That's not Sunstreaker.

No he doesn't. You can clearly see the left side of his head against the yellow body and there's no ears.

Guys, this is High Moon, if Sunstreaker was that robot he'd be instantly recognizable.

 

to be honest that's who I thought it was at first glance.

By the same logic, it should be instantly recognisable as Swindle, and while I can see a few characteristics that suggest it may well be, that's not what jumps to mind. Purely going by colours, it's too much of the wrong yellow, and I really don't see the purple you're talking about. That's much the same as the pinkish/redish glow that's on Wheeljack, Optimus and many of the other autobots.

 

BTW, On the back of the GI magazine (where you see the huge tank), Swindle is there driving side by side to the tank's left....clearly a jeep-esque vehicle with a purple light-streak behind it...

 

I noticed the same in the Grimlock thread, I'm pretty sure that Truck is Swindle - it also has a top mounted cannon, like in Animated and G1 (though that was a heavy machine gun). Someone mentioned the colour isn't mustard enough for Swindle, but they changed Vortexs colour scheme too - it'll be interesting to see them all combined.

 

Wheeljack & Sunstreaker, we sure can expect more character for FOC
