Barricade laughed? I will have to check that as well when it is on Blu-Ray.

 

I believe that is was Soundwave that Laughed, because that was a Dr. Claw voice and Soundwave is the only Decepticon with a Dr. Claw voice.

 

Yes, Barricade laughed. Barricade was speaking with Welker's Dr. Claw voice in the entire scene for some reason ("You! Your time is up!" and "Move it!"). There are entire threads about this. Que's head falls off, Barricade walks up to his dead body and laughs evilly. I'd link to the scene, but it's a bootleg on Youtube.

When I first saw the movie, I thought it was Soundwave who pushed Wheeljack and said move it, then blasted him. Turns out to be Barricade. I was probably too busy watching Wheeljack blow up into pieces I didn't pay attention to who blasted him.

But there are some confusing errors.

For one thing, Soundwave was the one who said No Prisoners, only trophies. Suddenly that Dr. Claw voice moves on to Barricade, when in the beginning Barricade said Remember me, it didn't sound like a Dr. Claw voice.

This is becoming confusing now, But I don't want to start an argument, so let's just leave it and say what each of us think in our perspective.

 

I do not wish to start an argument either, sir.   I know, eh? It is a confusing scene due to the transferring of voices. But if you notice Barricade's mouth obviously matches "You! Your time is up!" when he pushes Que forward in that close-up shot. And then the same voice says "Move it!" moments later (when he pushes Que to the ground), implying that it is Barricade, since he is the one in the shot. And as for the laughing, since Soundwave is way in the background of the shot, and Barricade walking towards Que's dead body seems to be the focus of the shot, I think that it's implied that Barricade (with Welker's Dr. Claw voice) is the one doing the laughing. Unnecessarily confusing.

 

Aw damn it! That was what I was going to say!   It's actually pretty impressive that Wheeljack was able to rack up 11 lines with his little screentime. I felt we also got to know his personality and what he's good at(Ratchet and Mirage i'm looking at you)

And what's wierd, Jess Harnel, the voice of Barricade in the first film, surely should've been able to do the voice for them. I bet Frank Welker got a big paycheck from that film, well, more then any of the other voice actors.

 

I thought Soundwave said: "You, your time has come."

 

It was "You! Your time is up!" and Barricade said it,you can see his mouth move

 

If only Mirage has that many lines instead of just 3.

I'm thinking someone should make a thread will ALL the lines of ALL Transformers in DOTM. I would do it, but there are people who know more lines than me on this forum, so me making the thread would be illogical. But still, we can just wait for the DVD release so the thread is accurate. What do you all think?

Yeah, and that's what makes it weird. Harnell was there (granted, we don't know what his schedule was like). Oh well... I'm sure Welker was happy to do it.
