This is just ridiculous. Nelson is driving me batty. IT's Wheeljack and Mirage in my book, regardless of what Hasbro calls them Que is a lame cover-up name, as is Dino. Frankly, both sound very un-transformer-y
The biggest BS fest I have ever heard. I don't see whats wrong with using Mirage and Wheeljack for these guys.
The junior and normal novels call them Wheeljack and Mirage, the comic adaptation calls them Wheeljack and Mirage, the children's books call them Wheeljack and Mirage, HASBRO is calling the ferrari Mirage.... To say this close to the movie's release that "Oh, that's not their names! It's Dino and Que!" makes me take a gigantic pillar of salt until the movie actually hits. So far I'm believing the adaptations over Nelson right now. It just seems like he's pulling a "Megatron's not here" move.
I'll bring bombs and optimus prime and he'll say "GIVE ME THE FACES OF THOSE WHO ARE CALLING OUR 2 FELLOW AUTOBOTS ASS NAMES!!!"
I came here to post this. Seriously, I call shenanigans. Reckon it's a ploy to generate pages and pages of discussion on the Web to help market the movie.
I remain as skeptical of this claim as many of you are, but I'd like to take a moment to address something that's been repeated/implied a few times over the course of this thread: Nelson never said Megatron wasn't in ROTF. That was just Bay.
I see "Que" and read it as "Que?!?" as in the spanish translation of "What?!?" which is exactly what I read when I saw this article. Actually, my reaction was "What the F...?!?" but close enough. If they were going to go with "Q" they might've tried using a more phonetic spelling like "Cue" or "Kyu". When I read "que", I either pronounce it as "Kae" or "Kwae". At least for happiness sake we know that Spoiler Wheeljack won't be killed when he drives into a river.
BS. I hope it's misinformation. I really, REALLY hope it is or I'm gonna be pissed. Seriously? Dino and Que??? Really? That's just pathetic. Like there aren't enough transformer names to choose from. "No, let's just pick some random names for them. Just for the lulz!" What's next? Shockwave will be called Cyclops? Leadfoot will bedome Yogi? If this is true, then Bay really dropped the ball on this one.
Is this a joke? lol. That's what I thought when I read that mirage was named Dino and Wheeljack was Que. I don't know. The name, Que reminds me of the word "Que" in spanish and Dino as in the name of some pizzeria. I don't know what the Hell they were thinking.
