Hey man I recommend you do the same this will force Hasbro too dub in wheeljack over the Que in the DVD release so that people will stop rubbing their genitals on the big screen
*sigh* and the cycle of nonsense begins all over again. Once Bot Con's over I'm logging off these boards until after I've seen the movie, and the way I feel right now it won't be at the cinema like I was planning, it'll be in another fashion that doesn't contribute to the movies box office gross and therefore Nelsons wages. Small, petty, and meaningless perhaps, but at least I'll feel good about it.

If any of you have read the book, youll see that Mirage is named a red Italian sports car and not referred to as a Ferrari so as much as I dont want to say this... Nelson may be telling the truth about Mirage. Now I do believe he will still be Mirage, he's just not going to be called Mirage by name in the movie because of the licensing crap with Ferrari and Mattel. Now Wheeljack on the other hand, I dont believe Nelson one bit about it because even in the book Wheeljack is referred to as the Mercedes and not a blue German Luxury car like my brother already pointed out on SFTE. If Mercedes was caught up in the same licensing crap as Ferrari, Wheeljack would not be allowed to be called a Mercedes at all in the book. And the same goes for another named bot that is a Mercedes in the book.
It wil be strange to hear Optimus say, "hey Que fix this." or "Dino I...is that your real name?...I want you to roll out."
Honestly people are getting worked up over a name that may or may not be. But I gotta ask how does Que read as Q? Letters don't work that way, then again Autobot What has a nice ring to it. After arriving on earth Soundwave was too damaged to continue his fight against the Autobots. So Megatron reused some of Soundwave's parts along with some new parts and renamed him New Soundwave! Optimus: "Bumblebee, Ratchet, Jazz go and help Skids, Mudflap, Arcee and Sideswipe defeat Megatron who has brought Soundwave, Barricade and Starscream to aid him!!!" ...nope Q and Dino sound about right.
Neither the name 'Dino' or 'Que/Q' roll off the tongue as well as Mirage and Wheeljack. There is just something unnatural about the way they sound in the context of Transformers. Was there no room for compromise on this one?
Not a fan of the names but I guess i am fine with it if its only for the film. Never really know until we see the movie, however.
Between TF1's Brawl/Devastator debacle and now this new TF3 Mirage/Dino & Wheeljack/Que nonsense, I'm once again blown away how Bay can apparently name characters whatever the hell he wants even though Hasbro owns the characters and just spent multimillions producing & printing different (and likely accurate) name for mass consumption their via toys, comics, etc. Just... wow.
