Wasn't too keen on the SS86 Wheelie deco so I decided to paint him up in his deco from "Wheelie the Wild Boy of Quintesson" storybook, I had the book as a child and it's imagery stuck with me.

There were some compromises made but mostly I opted to make the base colour blue so that it would show through as a greenish patina similar to how the storybook was illustrated.

This is really special! Great work! I had this book as a kid too and also remember that unique artwork.

That's great, this idea's been on my list for a while, but I haven't figured out what toy to use as the base. Glad to see someone do it.

This is brilliant! First time I’ve seen this deco done in toy form, and it works so well!
