Do you like the techno organic type? ( Beast Wars etc )

Or the total machine variety? ( G1 Dinobots style and so forth )

The techno organics make a lot of sense but the total machine guys look awesome.

I think both are cool myself but what do you think?

I do love the Transmetal beast modes of BW, but there's something to be said for a more organic look like what Big Convoy has. Tough call. I like them both, but I guess I have to go with a more mechanical look.

    definately transmetals for sure .

though i prefer the supertransmetal 2 forms like megatrons fir and ice breathing dragon for a good example there

be nice if hasbro would remold tigerhawk to be a super transmetal 2 fuzor silverbolt now that would rock all around

Personal favorite of mine is Transmetal 2 Cheetor, so I have to say, I really do like the transmetal figures. Not all of them, but there are a select few that have that good blend of unique organic with technological.

While I really like the Beast Machines look, the whole techno-organic (or biotech) look, I prefer the full machine look ala G1. As I type this I'm actually thinking of the scene in Call of the Primitives where Razorclaw turns round and decides to fight, forming Predaking in the process. The Predacons as a whole just look really badass in their fully techno-way.

I love machines. I don't mind beast modes but I can't dig that transorganic concept.

I like anything beast, but have recently come to a preference of technoorganics, they just make more convincing beast modes.

I was kinda glad they didnt go with a techno organic style for the beast tf's in Cybertron.

I think they pulled the concept of both off well in Animated, with the Dinobots being all robot and Blackarachnia and Waspinator being techno organic.

They made sense being in the same universe and time period is what I mean.

Oh weren't the beast warriors in Cybertron technoorganic? Like Scourge and the Optimus Primal and Megatron. That's what I would define as technoorganic, but perhaps my definitions wrong.

Personally, I like the fully blended technorganic look of the Beast Machines maximals... but I hate their transformation method/style. The whole, "glow-then-morph" thing...

Then again I guess it's really hard to depict something that organic transforming in the traditional "mechanical" style. (Especially since technically the beast modes and the robot modes for those characters were totally separate designs.)

Also, there's just no way you can throw out vehicle modes. It's the core concept of the franchise. (Sort of... really the core concept is simply disguise in general. Beasts, vehicles, toasters, all are equally valid. But vehicles are the most traditional.)

I think Transtech would've handled it pretty interestingly. The hyper-organic look and feel of the Beast Machines Maximals combined with traditional mechanical transformation and vehicular alternate modes. (Yeah, yeah, I know. Even mentioning Transtech = :horse: )

So yeah. Beast Machines-style technorganic is my preference for beast modes, but only if you can still pull off classical mechanical transformations. And really I'd like to see more of that hyper-organic look even with the non-beastformers.

The BW-style TFs make sense in so many different ways, but I still don't like them. I really prefer my 100% machine-style beasts.
