Hey all, happy holidays!!! Since I asked you all about your biggest gripes about the TF world, I would now like to ask what your absolute thing about TF's is. Toys? Comics? Manga? 'Toons? Japanese TF hentai (I'm not here to judge ;-))?

I would have to say the toys, myself. Any toy line really. G1, G2, BW, BM, RiD, and so on and so forth. I really admire (especially with Cybertron and ALT's/BT) the engineering that goes into the toys lately.

None of the comics or toons really did it for me. I of course watched the G1 cartoon religiously as a kid, and BW as a young adult, but the recent cartoons starting w/ RiD were really weak IMHO.

    What about y'all???

Overall, the sheer variety of characters and gimmicks. Very few toylines offer the spectrum of different ideas and designs that TF does. You have many, many different robot designs, each one with their own personality and transformation. Then there are the many different gimmicks and ideas that get used over the years. Different kinds of combining, light piping, Minicons, Super Linking, Force Chips, and all the rest. Like them or loathe them, you'd be hard pressed to find a line that has so many different gimmicks integrated at one point or another.

I take it you forgot Actionmaster.

Um, they are robots that turn into vehicles and stuff, yeah that is enough to keep me happy.

I just like that they're giant robots with some semblance of a story behind them.

I'm another one of those "robots that turn into vehicles" fans. Of course, that's always made better if it's a vehicle I can identify.

My favorite thing about TFs is the little chocolate mints they leave on my pillow every night.

I love the action figures, mostly for the reasons stated above. Also, the more Transformers you have, the better they look together. I really love the basic philosophy about the Transformers. What wouldn't you give to have the power to almost instantly become something faster, stronger and then to instantly blend back in to the background through your own unique disguise? Even from the human side of things, imagine being able to team up with a Transformer and be of use to them, like being a Powermaster. I'd Binary-Bond with a Transformer at the first chance.

No, they briefly crossed my mind. But then I remembered that I don't like them. And since this is about what we DO like...

    Simple, but effective quote.:)

Basically I love the puzzle aspect of it, the personalities and was always fascinated by the art associated with it (especially the boxart).

I liked the general concept. I love the basic idea of transforming robots. Even the bad ones are true engineering projects in ways that no other toys are.

I also like the "living robot" idea behind Transformer stories. It's something very few stories with robots had before or since. The robots are characters with personalities, instead of mecha or things that talk like Star Trek computers or anything like that.

Robots, and Transforming. Love the design and ideas that go into some of them. Also I really dig the old packaging and box-art and all the weird crap that came out in the 80's (like the walkie-talkie set etc).
