Us die hard tf fans probably don't limit ourselves to one tf toy line so just asking out of all of them what's your favorite?

    Impossible to pick just one.

Classics/Universe etc is AMAZING, but they are G1 homages, as are Animated for the most part. Plus I love Beast Wars show accuracy and the sheer engineering genius of the movie lines.

Nope, can't pick one for the life of me.

choosing one does not mean the rest are crap.

Animated all the way. It's obvious from most of my planned kitbash projects that i lean towards Animated more than any other line.

Cybertron. It only had 2 crappy figures, The toys had a cool gimmick that didn't ruin the toys and had a decent cartoon to boot.

Plus it got me into Transformers. I miss 2005. :(

    Classics/Universe/Animated are also pretty close.

    Henkei.

Classics and Universe got me into collecting TF as a full-on hobby (I'd previously just picked up a few Armada and Energon figs, but not much more). Henkei took what was a great line of figures and put it up an extra step, in my mind.

Pretty much everything I'd want in a TF line- G1 characters in new toys.

Classics/ Universe II/ Generations for sure (I refuse to use that idiotic acronym). It's what I've wanted since getting back into collecting with the RiD Car Brothers.

My favorite main line though is Cybertron. There are definitely some stinkers but overall the toys were consistently good in all size classes.

Other honorable mentions are RiD and Beast Wars.

I would go with Classics/universe/generations-as I have picked up most and wanted all of em, but I'm gonna go with the movie lines. Especially ROTF and HFTD. What the have done as far as evolving transformation is astounding. Take the best example-ROTF leader prime. I look at that robot mode and to this day it's hard to believe it turns into a truck. They are breaking up altmodes more and more-which is leading to smaller and smaller bits of kibble. So yeah- I'm going with movie. (Also doesn't hurt that I actually like the movie aesthetic)

I absolutely love the Movie-verse toy lines, as that comprises the bulk of my collection.

Alternators and Classics/Henkei/Universe/Generations tie for my second fave toy line.

Definitely CHUG. As much as I love me some G1, they've done some amazing things lately.

Cybertron. If for nothing more than variety. We had beasts, cybertronian cars, earth vehicles, giant alien construction machines and minicons. Add to that combiners, powerup versions of many characters, Omega Supreme and Primus and it's just an incredible series.

    For me.

    Animated.

I did really, really like the classics/universe stuff, but now.. it all seems kind of boring.

If you count the Classics, Universe, and Generations as one continuous line (and I guess you could, since Henkei combines them, but I don't like Henkei itself aside from a few guys), then that would be my favorite.

If I had to pick them individually, I'm not sure which would come out on top. Classics probably wouldn't, as it's begun to curiously show its age. Generations wasn't impressing me that much at first, when it seemed like all it had was Drift and WFC stuff, but the newly announced stuff sounds good. Universe was good too, but in retrospect, there wasn't as many new molds in it as it felt like at the time.

Alternators and RiD would be next on the list.
