Anyways, my favorite music genre has to be heavy metal, but more specifically thrash metal, viking metal and speed metal. (Iron Maiden, Bathory etc)
My least favorite is Pop, black metal or whatever shit is in American Top 40

I actually do like and listen to just about everything from any region or culture, in any language. But I am a complete, unabashed, 100% music snob. I may like Metal, but never thought people like Ozzy or Dio were particularly good, and I don't have tolerance for most death metal type songs. I may like rap, but it depends on the style, lyrics and person, and I think people like Tupac and Jay-Z are waaaaaay overrated.

There really are only two genres of music I truly despise:

1. Banda music. Basically polka in Spanish with obnoxiously heavy bass. Oompa-oompa, oompa-oompa- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH-HA-HA-HAI!!!!!!! <---- the sick irony is I can actually do that shout pretty well.

2. Country music. Cline and Cash are decent, but everything else just grates on my audio nerves. Especially that reh-ew reh-ew reh-ew guitar sound in so many songs - it's akin to a fork across a chalkboard for me.

 

This is a tough one, because I think different genres are capable of doing great things, but genres can also put out absolute trash.

I hate things like death metal, dub step, trap, and most current rap and pop music. I also hate a lot of Banda music as Yaujta and Wolfguard describe, although I love a lot of Spanish and Mexican music that has classical or folk influence; a former co-worker described Banda as circus music, which is an apt description.

I love a lot of pre-late 2000s country, but I hate a lot of newer stuff, so I don't know if I could say country was my favorite.

Favorite genres as a whole? A lot of rock, especially punk and metal and 80s hair bands. Folk music from many cultures is fantastic. Classic and "Prime" country. Classical music and good film scores are great, although they aren't things I listen to all of the time.

 

My least favorites are as I said Pop and Black metal. Black metal is pure earrape and pop is the same thing over and over (love, breakup, etc)

 

My favorites are alternative rock, some classic rock, heavy metal and anything harder than that. Even screaming. The louder it is the better lol I like dubstep too and a little rap but not the new stuff playing these days.

Least favorite is country. A few of the older artists are ok but I hate the new stuff that plays everywhere nowadays.

My favorite is without a doubt heavy metal, which if I wanted to get super specific, black metal would be my preferred genre. As for least favorite, country, easily.

 

Most favourite: Rock, like AC DC and I also like party and a bit of English country.

Least favourite: Heavy Metal and those Rapping ones.

 

I can listen to anything besides country and classical.

 

Yup - I get this junk on my street on a daily basis, and called cops 17 times last year on the neighbors for blasting it at their house parties.

 

I can't stand a lot of the 80s/90s music minus rap. It's just so fucking annoying with those funky beats and the lyrics suck.
Also hate country.

I love rap. Mostly rap that is about people's life stories and what they've been through. Some people just can't relate and aren't willing to open up there eyes to rap music though. Also love hip hop and R&B

 

Favorite is 80's metal and hair bands.

Least favorite would be a tie between country and rap.

I like songs from the 50s

And like a lot of people, country, most of pop, el pinche Banda music. Que Madre who the hell enjoys it? They all sound the same. I even wrote a song in Banda music in Spanish about how this genre sucks. But that's just my opinion.

I don't like jazz, as for rap, it's been going into down hill since the mid 2000s. It's rare to find good rap music these day since 99% rappers talk about look how much money I got, look at my gold rings, gold chains, gold watch, did I mention I got loads of money? Money make these b****es Shake their booty in my face. Where the hell is Nelly?!

Reggaeton. Eya la ganta el Gasolina (dame mas Gasolina) f*** you, Daddy Yankee.
