I think my favorite bargain find was a first wave Crossovers Hulk at my local Goodwill for $2. It was in perfect shape and is a really fun toy. It might be the only intact Transformer I've ever found at a thrift store.

Basically my entire collection is pre-owned and from flea markets.

One of my favorite bargains was 4 unopened Cybertron Scouts for 8 bucks total. I later sold one to my cousin so basically it was free.

$15 for MP01 and $15 for Armada Unicron (clearance at Target a long time ago). Those are probably my all time best deals ever.

The only one I can think of is Siege Shockwave for around $25-$30 on clearance at TRU, I believe the retail price for leader classes was $69.99 in Canada at the time, so it was over %50 percent off, probably the best deal I've got in a while, not as good as some of the other deals in this thread, but good enough for me, too bad I missed out on TRU's $50 Siege Jetfire sale (Original retail price $119.99cad)

Before I had the place and was just buying for myself I found a BM Strika in TRU around the time of Energon/Alternators. The packaging was crushed and covered in schmutz. It rang up for $1 might have even been a penny it was so long ago

I'd have to say that with garage sales, flea markets, 'cons and events I've bough a LOT of figures for extremely cheap, from 5 to 10 $.

In stores, many on liquidation, such as Siege voyagers from 5 to 15$.

A long time ago, a bunch of Battle Beast including "laser" line for something like 50 cents or a dollar each.

Did get a Jetfire (G1) with half the armor (missing gun) but in decent shape for 30$.

Got a Megazor (Clawzord? the lobster looking one) at a Value Village (thrift store) for 5$ and a small VHS Iron Giant collectable figure for 1-2$ (which was selling for 100$ at the time on eBay, but prices have dropped since new actual figures started). Funny story is I found another at a garage sale for something like another dollar for it.

Just remembered: Samurai Syber Squad, the 3 main figures on liquidation for something like 20 $ each... still one of my favourite items in my collection.

$14 each for the BW Megs and Primal reissues, holiday season Walmart discounts. Bought a pair for myself and my bro, we grew up on the Beast Wars shenanigans. Even cheaper when they were first introduced, and imo some of the best toys ever. Got me back into collecting and playin'.

I was pretty happy with a couple of Siege Jetfires for $19 each, Trypticon for $30, and Siege Omega for $20, but this thread has me beat.

Guy at work gave me literally all of his childhood TFs, all G1. The count? Metroplex, Abominus minus Blot, Chromedome, Sandstorm, Astrotrain, Barrage, Rodimus Prime, both Jumpstarters, and I believe some Minibots, a couple Micromasters, and a few Decoys. All for free. Might be a couple I'm forgetting in there...

£1 for a G1 Star Saber. A few parts missing, which I largely replaced using a KO. Still a cracking bargain.

Damn. Never remembered Conway but for clothes. I probably passed by that deal like 20 times and didn't know. Odd Job, Job-Lot, etc, though? Yeah, we may have bumped heads looking for that stuff. :)

As of right now...just my Legacy Motormaster being free is coming to mind.

Complete and mint Transmetal Cheetor for $5, Cybertron Dark Scorponok for like $15 at various shows pre-covid.

plus these days, it counts just having been around to pay MSRP for various figures new from 1997 onwards. God I’m too old for this shit

I might have got Studio-01 Cell/Pumpkin for €30 + Postage, eBay seller accidentally set discount to "10% of price", rather than "10% off of price"

CW Motormaster for $2 as soon as it was released at retail, due to a pricing error at my then-local Walmart. It was only happening with that figure.

Managed to find the right wave of Earthrise on clearance to amass a Guardminder (Fasttrack) army. They were $9 ($30 msrp). Kinda made up for never seeing the Alicon wave in person ever.
Also managed to catch a sale on Siege Leaders at TRU for $30 (MSRP at the time was $60ish I think). Got Shockwave for myself finally. I also got both Shockwave and Astrotrain for an overseas friend who really won out that day (even when you factor in shipping). Shame they didn't have Magnus or Galaxy Prime there too, I'd have gotten them at that kind of price.

Actually, if you factor in the great sales TRU had in the POTP-ER period, I probably saved more then and there over multiple purchases than every other deal in my life combined. Seriously a golden time and a huge contrast to TRU now having all their TFs noticeably over MSRP.
