Man, I just don¡t understand why almost no one never EVER plays Countdown, Code of Power or Power Struggle. They're really fun, but it seems people haven't tried them much :(

I agree. I always enjoy objective based games more than simply death matches.

Because people don't want to use teamwork and just Rambo all the time.

    It's a damn shame.

This. Though I racked up a good score in Countdown, just running the bomb back and forth while everyone else just went on brawling.

Really. I love playing Count Down to Extinction, Power Struggle and Code of Power I hardly ever play, but I like them.

It's true, most people would rather kill, kill, kill, than cooperate. But the feeling of mowing down enemies as pack to achieve a goal is great.

^ Well, when you get the bomb in Countdown, people must take the bomb from you. (Same as the code in Code of Power).

On the other hand it doesn't matter how do you play Power Struggle, that's just a chaos : P

So hey guys, what if we set up a series of games in these modes?

I love Power Struggle. I usually rack up a decent score by playing Scientist and flying to the new node as soon as it's available. Plus, I never have to wonder where people are; I follow the node and commence ass-whooping' (and getting killed, but that's fun, too). Same sort of goes for Conquest, but people are generally more spread out. I don't like the Deathmatch types as much because it seems I spend most of my time just looking for people.

Yep. Deathmatch is f*cking boring. I'm always up for Escalation... only played Countdown once and loved it.

Ahh, then I usually play Conquest. Mainly because I only play multiplayer so I can get the Prime Mode achievement and the campaign mode is as dull as hell, Deathmatch being no better.

Plus, there's way more Exp in Conquest than Deathmatch.

Power Struggle to me is the ultimate. If you wanna talk about an all out team brawl at a node, that's the game to play. I have so much fun with that MP mode.

CTE and COP are cool too, but only when you have a good team.

Now that I've maxed my characters, those are really the only ones I would like to play.

I would love a more fluid multi-objective type game mode. Something scenario driven. Like the Autobots have to defend from a multi staged attack from the Decepticons.

Basically I want to steal some multiplayer ideas from Halo Reach. Oh and some Halo-ish maps too.

Even with a bad team, Countdown is a blast. It's pretty much the only mode I play. I'll only dive into Conquest when I'm playing during an 'off' time and there's 0 players in CtE.

Power Struggle is definitely my favorite multiplayer mode in the game, I've spent over half of my online time playing it. Me+Power Struggle+Soldier=A hell of a lot of fun for me, and just a hell of a lot of hell for the opposition.  Can't say I've really gotten into the other two, but that's probably because no one ever plays them.

Power Struggle is my primary game mode. Aside from that I play Conquest once in awhile. I have played Team Deathmatch a few times.

I like the action of Power Struggle. You never have to guess where everyone is heading. The only teamwork really required is to help keep each other alive at the node. With Conquest you still need to have a tactical plan to which nodes to conquer/defend. When I have a team that controls the node well, I will contribute to defending the node. When I have a team that sucks or just not quite getting the idea, I stay back and rack up kills by sniping or using the tank cannon on the node.

I play TDM usually when I can't find a good connection in Power Struggle. It is a change of pace to me. I think the name is a little misleading though the majority of the time... i never get into a TEAM death match where there is any semblance of a team. It ends up being a free for all match where you can only kill half the players.

I think most casual players simply don't know what to do in those other modes of play.

Add in the fact that many people leave games with annoying people on mics.
So verbal teamwork is a rare occurence in casual play.
It's just easier & simpler to hunt & kill for the simpler player.
