OK, I live here and even I don't get it. Why is Takara Tomy so intent on combining everything Transformers into a single time-line? I've asked the native TF fans and all they say is "oh, it's easier to keep track of things that way" which really doesn't make any sense.
It gives the TF universe more credibility, much like Gundam is supposed to have more credibility. It makes the story more tangible, as opposed to a reboot every year or two. It gives a better sense of "history", one might say.
You're in with them!!!!! Accusations!!! ARRRRRRGH!!!! I've even heard apocryphal statements that the Disney Crossovers are considered part of their time-line. It seems that the Japanese took "TILL ALL ARE ONE" truly to heart. Sheesh.
PLEASE DONT TYPE IN ALL CAPS, IT LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE YELLING! Also, don't state something so objective as fact, it makes you look smug.
as galvatron said in TFTM : This is bad Comedy So many TF names have been reused and often their bios vary greatly from series to series as to make them different characters in all but name, Prime and Megatron/Galvatron and Starscream have stayed consistant but other than those 3 and perhaps a few others that aren't comming to me, there is no consistantacy, so trying to fit all the various TF series into one time line is a fail waiting to happen, Just let each series stand on its own
There's UC and then there are the separate timelines for G Gundam, Gundam Wing, Gundam X, Turn A Gundam, Gundam Seed, and Gundam 00. And that's not counting manga and novels. Or anything else I'm forgetting.
They're just kissing fanboy ass. If it bugs you as much as it does me, just ignore it and focus on the quality of the toy itself.
I stand corrected. Guitar Guy in your avatar is still tattooed to my eyes when I go to sleep. Damn you, Stan Bush.
