Cubex huffer, loose and shit paint (even what's managed to stay on the figure, though I still love him)

IGears faith leader. It was like the plastic was made of the same stuff old records were, thing just fell apart out the box.

 

Oddly most, if not all, of my QC issues over the decades have been with official toys.
I think the worst problem I've had was with the TFA Blurr. I had a run of bad luck with his knees being broken. I gave up on buying him on the card when I bought one and the leg fell off as I took him out of the plastic. ^^

 

Mine would have to be X transbot Stax.The cab you pull out and rotate to transform from one form to the other and its held on by one screw. The screw stripped and the whole cab came off. I since glued it back on but don't transform him now for fear it might break back off. Other than that like deaculpa I've been lucky to not really have to many QC issues.

 

Hasbro MP Rodimus Prime by far. Heard a clunk one day on my computer desk, went over to check it out and found his arm just lying there, it just fell off ! I never even had a chance to transform it !

 

my cousin was born with 1 backwards foot...

I've had loads of QC issues with figures both Hasbro/Takara & third party.

lets see
Armarda Unicron his chest missile would not stay in his chest.
First edition bulkhead Had two left hips installed so he had a screw on the front of his right hip (remedied with a bit of black sticker courtesy of reprolabels)
normal prime bulkhead had two right shoulder joints couldn't transform at all.
tfc Hercules all joints stiff as hell.
tfc iron army cracked hip on one figure flash on the rest all remedied.
generations sandstorm lines missing from one foot but I can live with that.
unique toys mania king. instead of having a peg & a port on his arms he had two ports so his arms can't peg together and they wouldn't close together. remedied by sanding down one of the ports enough so they can close up properly.

And those are the ones that really pissed me off.

A lot of Crazy Devy stuff. Toyworld Orion missing a chest window. Cubex's paint just falling off on Huff. MP-09's trailer having to be sanded down so it didn't scrape the wings on Rodimus. TFC's QC fixes on the first batch of Hercules. Unique Toy's Warlords loose hips to fix.

They all sucked, but having to repaint Huff was probably the worst for me.
Does anyone know the best way to fix the looseness in Huff's hips?

 

Huff is definitely the worst for me. Recently though (found out today) is this:

 

Toyworld Hardbone: No big cannon in the package, just an empty spot in the blister.

Planet-X Genesis: Opened the window on the front, and Genesis was standing on his head (blister upside-down in relation to the orientation of the illustration on the outside box), then when I eventually transformed him, he was missing the catch on his claw arm that hooks over the little t-bar to keep it in place in spaceship mode. I believe I wasn't the only one with that issue, though.

 

Universe Ironhide fell apart as soon as he left the package, Generations Dirge's arm fell to pieces. That's really been the worst of the official releases.

3rd Party the worst of the worst has been Huff. Came missing his gun, and now his paint has started coming off.

 

When I took out Air Burst from his box he kicked me in the stomach and ran off with my wallet.

 

Most annoying one was takara thundercracker came with two left horizontal stabilizers and no way to exchange one for another. Recently my dr wu partners. Soarkplug has no left arm.

 

I have only had one QC issue with a third party figure, fansproject warbot defender. The way the sword works, there is a rod that goes through the two blades, and then there is a circular piece below the blades to keep them on. One day, the circular piece just fell off because of a split down the middle, so I had to glue it in place. I glued it a little too high, so the blades don't spin freely when in propeller mode.

The biggest QC from an official figure was with Prime FE bulkhead. He has those spring loaded, pop up panels on his forearms, but mine came with two left panels. This meant that the right arm couldn't collapse for alt mode, so I had to take a file and carve the correct shape and grooves into the plastic. Other than that, Masterpiece Laserbeak's paint was awful. The silver paint was scratched everywhere, and the red paint is extremely thin in some areas, so you can see the material underneath. Those are the only major ones I can think of.

 

Dealing with kidslogic on all the paint issues with Prime...only to be left with a $120 paper weight.

 

The only one Iv'e encounterd is UT Soundmixer coming without his cassette/rifle, fortunatly the seller sent a replacement.

 

Mania King showed up missing one of his little back wings. The vendor sent me a replacement back piece.
