Alright so...alot of peoples' shipments of Masterpiece Optimus Prime havent shipped yet or have been upright cancelled. So now what. Do we complain and demand until they send them (probably would not work)? I don't about you guys, but we just cant give up on this. I won't claim to know all the details as to why this is happening or go in being educated about quantity or shipping probems, but I've been desperately wanting this guy, and it seems I and many others do too. So the question is, what's going on? and what do we do about it ? can we do anything about it at all? Ive tried emailing, they told me to call some department, they said it was on back order. Yeah...along with everyone else's...
I missed out on the pre-order and am hoping I can pick one up in a store. For me that isn't going to be easy since the closest Toys R' Us is about an hour and fifteen minute drive from here. I imagine he'll be harder to get than Thundercracker is. I'm just hoping that the price will make it so I can find one.
my tru has a dozen thundercrackers sitting on their shelfs. they have had atleast 20 there so far. however ive only seen 2 optimus

1. List ONE member who has had TRU cancel their pre order that had a valid credit card/funds available in their paypal account when TRU tested the account. The answer is ZREO BTW stop spreading panic. 2. You want TRU to change their ways? It's rather simple answer, just like scalpers, if EVERYONE stopped buying from them things WILL change. Till then sit back relax and just chill until there is PROOF that the preorders are not going to be shipped EVER. This is to EVERYONE panicking, not directed to or at the OP directly: WE GET IT you preorded MP Prime you "expected" to recive you'res first, you haven't received it, shipping dates have been pushed back, NO ONE here knows exactly whats going on at the moment. STOP running around yelling the sky is falling and wait for actual news.

It's not Zero. Several people have had their orders cancelled for other reasons. Reasons are typically that they were in too late and TRU oversold it, or that they either purposely or accidentally broke the 2 per customer limit. We really don't need another topic about this, though. The one in the news forum is kept up to date with information. If you want to know what's going on, check there.
I've read every post on the news thread... I'm up to date. Point is those that have valid orders within the past month have yet to have TRU cancel them. You're right though we DO NOT need another WTH is going on with MP Prime thread.

Well, my TRU's been getting them, but with only 2 being shipped every week (if even that) & with my work starting earlier than the store opens, its no surprise that I keep missing out. I'm not too worried however because if Rodimus was any indication, it'll be a bitch to find for like 2 months, and then it'll come in larger amounts toward the holidays where I might even find a better sale than what my Rain Check has me at right now.
Exactly, Roddy and even TC were very hard to find for a month to two after release and then we had about two months of reasonable availability. Prime will almost be guaranteed to follow that same pattern.
Check out the MP Thundercracker situation and apply it to Prime (but add more demand). He has been out for what, 2-3 weeks? The few that trickle through are being devoured by fans, scalpers, TRU employees and any lucky kid who actually finds one on the shelves. For some reason the stock is only trickling in. This is either due to TRU misjudging the demand for a Prime or simply because they are waiting for Black Friday to really have him saturate the shelves. MP TC was impossible to find for the first two weeks and now he will clog the shelves until Christmas sales are over. I suspect as much for Prime but it will take a little longer for him to be found on shelves because of his popularity. As for the TRU preorders? The obviously F'ed up somewhere but that's the only opinion I have on that.
