I apologize for that. Anyhoo, I made this from a bunch of different sets, mostly LEGO Exo-Force. What I did was basically just try to build the biggest damn mech-type thing I could, and kinda make it up as I went along. I think it came out well enough. The main things I wanted was a lot of white, a big chest gun, and a giant sword. I believe I accomplished those goals. Next I'm gonna build one with a lot of black parts, so it's like good guys vs. bad guys. You know, standard stuff. Supreme Starscream pictured for scale. Thanks for looking.
Thanks guys. Yeah, I've never been happy with robot faces I've made with Legos, i just haven't found a good way of doing it with the pieces I've had. Heh, yeah, I want to try to make kinda transforming mechs eventually, it's just harder to do, obviously. I saw another design he did with two specific sets, but I've only been able to get one of them so far or else I'd have built it. There are online instructions for it here http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1558112. There's also this one Creator set that looks a good bit like Starscream. If I got that I bet I could use it to make a Starscream myself. http://creator.lego.com/en-us/Products/Creator/4953.aspx
check out www.brickcommander.com that guy's site has TONNES of mechwarrior instructions for Lego. like this :
HELL! AND! HEAVEN!!!!!! So I was watching GaoGaiGar Final and it was awesome, so I decided to make a LEGO GaoGaiGar. I think it turned out pretty well. Of course the chest looks very little like a lion but I did what I could with the limited yellow pieces I have. The head is also not that great, but you can't really do a lot of detials with LEGO. But now I want a Genesic GaoGaiGar figure of some sort, but the good ones are really expensive... Also, DIVIDING DRIVER!!!!!!!
Thanks, yeah I'd love to make a Goldion Hammer but I used all the orange parts I have on the Dividing Driver. Maybe I'll look for a good Mars Mission set or two... I decided I wasn't happy at all with the head or chest, so I went to look for examples of other LEGO GaoGaiGars and came across this awesome one: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2921710 which I used to help design a new head and chest. I think it turned out well from what I had to work with.
Thanks. Yeah, you can make some awesome looking mecha with Bionicle parts. I like the regular LEGO brick parts, so I don't really like Bionicle all that much, but I saw this gallery yesterday http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=gabriel and there are some pretty cool designs in there, and I'm sure there are a lot more out there. Also, apparently it's National LEGO Day or something. 50th anniversary.
you think those are awesome? check this out. fully transformable LEGO Neo Saber, Star Saber, Victory Saber and Victory Leo! http://www.flickr.com/photos/22321981@N07/
Thanks for all the comments, guys. That Victory Saber rocks. Next, we have a Starscream based partially on the Lego set Fast Flyers and also on Classics Starscream. Yes I know he would look better with gray pieces instead of white, but I don't have nearly enough of those without breaking up my Imperial Star Destroyer which I just don't want to do. Comparison with Classics Starscream. But wait, there's more! What's this? A plane transforms into a robot? Golly! I dunno what's next, probably take a break. Maybe a smaller Optimus or something. Or something black, because I still have the most black pieces. Or white.
I've got one that I came up with a while back based on parts from a Bionicle bucket, and pretty much inspired wholly by the chainsaw weapons, which made me think of caterpillar tracks. If you look, you'll see there's some cheating going on, but that's because I intend eventually to flesh it out into a proper TF. The E-Ironhide head's pretty much a placeholder.
So here we have some more, basically just things I started randomly putting together. First off is this big walker thing, made from dark green and black pieces mainly. It also has a huge gun and some missile launchers, isn't that nice. I call it Serpent Walker because I am not good at naming things. Next is one I really like, it's like a snake mech, I think he'd be like the main evil guy in some sort of mech show, he's got claws and such. It's name is Snakeulon, because what I said about the previous one. But then I thought, hey, why not? Gattai! So there's some more stuff. Wacky.
