There probably won't be a toy.

A Cyberverse one similar to the Ark playset would be pretty cool though.

About as lame as a Unicron toy designed and built in 1986.
Or the $100 ROTF Devastator toy.

I'd imagine he'd be way out of scale (even compared to Cyberverse) and more a static base than actual articulated figure, but guess we'll see if they do release Cyberverse Commander Shockwave with Driller as a playset. I still don't have CVC Shocky (and I don't like his fusion tank thing) so I'm hoping this gets made to better reenact scenes from the movie with it!

The scary thing about such an item? Somewhere out there, people with corresponding fetishes very possibly exist.

Most likely would probably be a Cyberverse playset similar to the Ark, with a Shockwave figure included.

Being serious here, it would probably have a base for it to roll on and have a series of wheels and gears that spin the tentacles and teeth.

I'd imagine if a Driller figure were made, it would be a non-transforming model, similar to those found in the Robot Heroes line.

Bro, I'm still laughing at the shit. Kudos. Seriously.

But, on a non-joke: I imagine a driller figure made by hasbro looking like a big, gray, poorly-molded mixture of a slug and a turd. Something just outright horrible.

^Ok, for realsies I think the Cyberverse playset idea mentioned above would probably be the only way a funcitional toy would work. But like you said, it would probably suck whatever it was. Translation to CGI, awesome. To toy, not so much.
