Ok, you guys don't have to write any long reviews on what you did and didn't like about the show, just rate it from one to ten.

I'd rate it a 4.

I have to say 8 just because some of season 1 and 2 I didn't like.

 

I'd give it a 9.5/10.

I rank it only below BW/BM and G1. A very well-written, cohesive show, but I personally could have done with less silly/goofball stuff and less Sari. 7.0

 

I give it a 8.6 out of ten.

 

If on a 1 - 10 scale 5 is average (instead of, say, being like a class grading structure where 50% is failure), I'd put it at a 6.5 or so.

 

I'd give it an 8. The first two seasons were good but the stories in them weren't consistently good, whereas season 3 was just terrific every episode.

 

8.5. Definitely one of the better TF series we've had in a LONG while. I can't say what the last TF series I saw that I enjoyed so much. I just loved how the Autobots were at such a disadvantage when they were up against any Decepticon

 

Very good, but still had a few flaws. Particularly, I think they could have done a better job running the ongoing plots through the "done-in-one" episodes and some of the minor characters were horribly misused (ie - the Dinobots). There were also a number of dangling plot threads left unresolved (Skywarp and Thundercracker, "Susan" briefly appears and then disappears again, how proto-Sari ended up in Sumdac's lab, etc). However, the characterization of the main cast was excellent, I liked the treatment of the Decepticons as more of a threat, the voice acting was great and it was generally a very fun series. I'd give it an 8/10.

In terms of ranking against other TF shows I've seen, I'd say:

BW > Animated > BM > Armada >>> Cybertron >>>>> G1 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Energon

 

9 out of 10. It's now my second favorite Transformers show. Beast Wars ALWAYS wins in my book.

i polled an 8 for it but i really probably would give it a 9, its tied as my favorite series with Cybertron and Beast Wars. actually i might place it jsut above them really. damn good show. it will be missed

9. it was fresh, it was different, Optimus was a janitor   Autobots were dicks. The Decepticosn were kinda like underdogs. And Blurr died. Blurr did not deserve to die

 

10/10. For me the gripes were minor and didn't interfere with my enjoyment of the show.

* About the Dinobots. I had grown sick of the uber badass team they had become in the comics, so seeing their portrayal in TFA brought a big smile to my face.

 

8. It definently wasn't the best (*cough*shekicker*cough*Blackarachnia*cough*transwarped*cough*), but it sure was better than the japanese crap we got for about a decade.
