Probably never happen due to licencing issues but like the title says, what would be your dream team for Anime equivalent of the Justice League or The Avengers? How would they meet? How would they who would lead etc. Please keep the lists between 5-7 (the average size of the average Superhero team)and keep the in mind rights. Mine: Goku (defacto leader) Seras Victoria (Second in Command) Astro Boy Monkey D. Luffy Edward Elric Sailor Moon Yugi Mutou (My choices are based on animes licensed by Fuji TV.) Also, this is suppose to be an fun thread so lets not get into fan wars here. Have fun!
Well, I will add Seiya ..maybe Koji Kabuto, Kenshin Himura of course. Well, sharing Sailor Moon just like you. that..goes 4. If I had to pick a second female "Animevenger" (XD) I probably go with Sakura Kinomoto and yes, to finish with the leader: Goku. ^^
Goku (DragonBall Z) -The powerful, god-like character to bring the thunder Seras Victoria (Hellsing) -Someone to handle the occult and magical based adversaries and doubles as the marksman of the group Major Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell) -A highly skilled stealth operative and of course expert hacker. Doubles as the cyborg Rally Vincent (Gunsmith Cats) -Bounty hunter and firearms expert (Hey, someone has to keep Seras and the Major's guns working). Doubles as the transporter for normal characters Priss Asigiri (Bubblegum Crisis) -Powered armor shock trooper; also plays a wicked guitar. Shinji Ikari w/ Evangelion Unit 01 (Rebuild of Evangelion) -Giant Mech pilot for the times where Goku is busy/dead Shinji's presence may seem odd considering who else is a part of my chosen ensemble but allow me to explain. Shinji's consistent failings are partly because he has no meaningful support in or out of his (highly stressful and dangerous) job. Here however, there would be greater understanding and help from characters like Goku and Rally, hell even the Major and Priss would be able to provide meaningful assistance; even if only the form of training.
Claymore - Clare DBZ - Vegeta Angel Beats - Kanade/Angel Naruto - Rock Lee Yu Gi Oh - Jaden Yuki RWBY - Weiss Scheene
Major Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell) Seras Victoria (Helsing Ultimate) Mikasa Ackerman (Attack On Titan) Yoko Littner (Gurren Lagan) Hinata Hyugga (Naruto) Android 18 (Dragon Ball Z) Saeko Busujima (High School Of The Dead) Wait...that's all female characters. Oh well.
Needed a theme to narrow it down Nekki Basara - Vocals & Lead Guitar Shoutmon - Vocals Haruhara Haruka - Backup Guitar Allen Walker - Keyboard Mic Sounders - Keyboard, Guitar, some Harmonica too Still needs a drummer... How 'bout Titan form Eren Yeager?
Vash the Stampede Kibagami Jubei (NInja Scroll) Golgo 13 Taki Renzaburo and Makie (Wicked City) MD Geist Goku Vegata Vampire Hunter D Miriya Sterling (c'mon, Zentradi warrior, even human size could be deadly)(using Robotech naming convention) Kinnukuman (MUSCLE/ Ultimate Muscle) yes, my list includes characters from series that haven't been in the public eye in decades, mainly since when I stopped watching anime when Pokemon came out and it got so comedic and at times badly dubbed (yes, I know there may be some newer series out there that could be really good, and before you say anything about comedic series, I liked Ultimate Muscle because it didn't take itself too seriously)
I have a question for the Kinnikuman fans: Where would you rank his strength/power? I've read a little bit on him, but frankly all it keeps telling me is he defeated ---- with this wrestling move, and defeated ---- with that wrestling move- but that doesn't tell me anything about where he stacks up to other characters- like Goku, Saitama, S-CRY-ED's Kazuma, or the Hulk- all of which are easily planet buster class. Is he just an average dude, and his series is just about an average dude becoming the best wrestler? Is that all he is, and even Dragonball's Dende could easily kick his ass? Just how strong is he, and where does he rank with anime's most powerful characters? Could he actually help them, or would he just be in the way- like Yamcha?
Goku: The god-like character for god-tiered threats. (Dragon Ball Series) Guyver Unit I/Sho Fukamachi: The obligatory armored hero. (Bio-Boosted Armor Guyver) Matoko Kusanagi: Stealth operative and cyborg. (Ghost in the Shell) Naomi Armitage: Multifunction combat expert and android. (Armitage the Third) Vash: Sharpshooter. (Trigun) Heero Yuy w/Wing Zero: Mech pilot and weapons expert. (Gundam Wing) Rin Tohsaka: Magic user and occult expert. (Fate/Stay Night) Sakura Sanada: Expert Ninja and Medic. (Naruto Series) Kirito: Sword expert. (Sword Art Online) Orihime Inoue: Defensive specialist and healer. (Bleach) Asta: Resident darkness user. (Black Clover)
Mochizuki Touya a God in training (In Another World with my Smartphone) Hyoudou Issei can become the most powerful ever (High School DxD) Misaka Mikoto and Kamijou Touma a level 5 and a level 0 with the power to defeat everyone. (Toaru Majutsu no Index and Railgun). How could I leave them out. Kurogane Ikki seems to have no limits to his abilities. (The Chivalry of a failed knight). Iwatani Naofumi the shield hero, I need somebody with defense on the team. (The Rising of the shield hero).
Goku: He can wipe universes out effortlessly now, so he's definitely top man. Saitama AKA One Punch Man: He's easily a planet buster, and there's no telling how much stronger he's going to get- so he'd be 2nd in command. Naruto: Definitely strong, and has many fighting techniques that would be useful in situations where numbers or size matter. Luffy: Possesses the traits of rubber, and has Majin Buu-like stretching abiltiies- also very useful on the battle field. S-CRY-ED's Kazuma AKA The Shell Bullet: Possesses Altar Power- the ability to create + manipulate matter with his mind. His Altar is called the Shell Bullet, which turns his right arm into an extremely powerful punching weapon. He could probably destroy a percentage of the planet if he tried. Street Fighter's Ryu: Possesses extremely powerful combat techniques, and has mastered the Power of Nothingness- making him incorruptible to supernatural opponents. Not a bad quality to have. Cyborg 009: Even though he's just a cyborg, he possesses bullet + fire proof skin, underwater breathing ability, and an Acceleration Mode- which allows him to move at lightspeed, and manipulate molecules in objects or people- making them either explode or disintegrate. 009 also possesses a dormant natural speed ability that he can merge with the Acceleration Mode, allowing him to time travel or enter different dimensions. Pretty sweet. One Punch Man's Genos: Another cyborg, capable of reducing buildings and city blocks to ash instantly- and moves fast enough to rival a considerable percentage of Saitama's speed. Wolverine: Has a skeletal adamantium frame (making him virtually indestructible), an instantaneous healing factor, Adamantium claws, and decelerated aging. Nuff said. [There was a Wolverine anime, so technically he counts.] Fist of the North Star's Kenshiro: Master of the fighting style called Hokuto Shinken- which targets specific vital pressure points, allowing him to brutally kill his enemies in seconds- usually causing them to explode.
Goku Mikasa Ackerman Asuka Langley Soryu One Punch Man Alucard Spike Spiegal John Cena - he's practically Superman anyway Shaggy from Scooby Doo Cory from Cory in the House
One of the greatest things about anime, and why they can tell such memorable, moving stories, is that they do not exist in a shared universe.
Anime is in/famous for having heroes/villains with transcendent abilities, to the point where using one/two anime character(s) would be going too far. Still, let me take a shot: - the City Hunters Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura. A gun-slinging fast-moving couple. - Roberta Cisneros from Black Lagoon. A former assassin now living as a maid. - Oscar Francois de la Jarjayes, the Rose of Versailles. A French commander. - Daisuke Jigen and Goemon Ishikawa XIII. Two mercenary buddies of Lupin III, good with a gun and sword respectively. - Ako Magami (the anime non-canon child of Superman and Wonder Woman) - For the space angle, I'll add Cobra the Space Adventurer and Space Pirate Captain Harlock. - For one super-powerful dude, I'd pick Alucard from HELLSING. The one guy who as far as I know has restraints on him, and deserves to have restraints put on him. Additionally I'd add Yug Moto (kid commands an array of animal fighters), Major Motoko Kusunagi (a cyborg soldier) and Vampire Hunter D (a heroic vampire loner outlaw/cowboy). I wonder if you know about CLAMP, a manga artist group, that writes stories but sets them in the same universe. Other manga writers that tried a shared universe are Osamu Tezuka and Leiji Matsumoto.
