We have Triple Changers. We have Phase 6ers. He have Combiners and Titans. Even transforming planets. Still, these are tied by their physical limitations. If there was one thing that had potential but wasn't fully realized or given further thought in AoE with transformium is a transformer that didn't transform necessarily, but rather shape shift. And now that I think of it, it might be something that might be explored in the TF/Terminator crossover. Skynet has the T-1000 tech polyalloy or whatever, "liquid metal" that could give a TF the ability to generate any shape it wants. Again, the Bayverse eliminated the need to carry weapons since the bots themselves could alter their extremities (some even their faces) to become their weapons. So to me the ultimate transformer would be a shape shifter that can become virtually anything it wanted, and in conjunction with other similar bots they could meld together into a perfect combiner, Titan or even planet.
Transformers: Prime introduced the concept of Shifters, who actually could shapeshift into whatever they wanted, including to mimic the appearances of other bots. IDW introduced the Ammonites, tiny transformer-like beings similar to Mini-Cons who could infinitely combine into whatever they wanted. But honestly, I'm not partial to the idea of shapeshifters. If someone can be anything, what then is so special about everyone else? Is there a need for anyone else?
Armada Optimus Prime is the ultimate being. His secret trailer pants pelvic thrust attack is unstoppable.
A giant Pooformer that can split up into smaller turds, even at microscopic levels, therefore smearing surfaces with its filth, including the optics of other Transformers, therefore blinding its enemies. It can enter into the digestive systems of organics that way, infecting other species. These smaller Pooformers can then transform within the bodies of organics, causing massive internal damage! The many smaller turds/poop particles can than combine back into a gigantic Pooformer.
Seeing as how Maximals had the ability to undergo a mutation and actually gain a power increase from it- especially Transmetal 2 Cheetor- perhaps the key lies within mutation and those with a spark capable of withstanding it. Even though Cheetor DID get his Transmetal 2 form out of an honest accident, it turned out to be quite the upgrade- and a lot of it had to do with controlling the primal side within his spark- remember: Optimal Optimus had to guide his spark along in order to help him transform the 1st time. THEN we have Rampage- another result of Frankenstein-like experimentation- the Maximals tried to replicate Starscream's indestructible spark, resulting in an unstable serial killer who ALSO possesses an indestructible spark, ability to self-heal, and can withstand attacks that would kill most Maximals or Predacons- a monster. Again- the key seems to lie within the spark: You either have a spark capable of withstanding mutation, thus gaining more power OR you have a indestructible spark (which only Starscream, Rampage, and Dinobot II ever had- BECAUSE of Starscream's spark) capable of making you theoretically immortal- because remember: Even if Starscream lost his physical body, his spark still remained- so technically that makes Starscream immortal. Perhaps the secret to the ultimate transformer lies within Starscream's spark, or perhaps he IS that transformer?
That sounds like nanotech. Which was cool in TF4, but also kind of went against the normal Transformer IMO.
Clearly, a giant Buddha statue that can henshin into a missile-breathing dragon would be the Ultimate Super Robot Lifeform.
Makeshift, the Mutacons and other shifters from Aligned, the Infinites, Chimeracons and Stentarians from IDW. To a smaller extent in some ways you could argue Sixshot (and the other six-changers) is a pretty elite TF given how many alt modes he has that could give him an edge in battle or exploration.
Agree to this. I think in general, Starscream is the type of a character that is universal in many ways. Through years he will be in the series forever! That makes him the ultimate tranformer ever(personality based 100%, and maybe look as well;/ Agree to this too and partially agree to this too Sixshot could have been the ultimate transformer IF then he was made into what his plans were in The Headmasters manga Issue 8, he said that he wants to learn the transformation skills exploring everywhere throughout the Universe! But Unfortunately,.. the part of the brand continued him with the Greatshot story, that has RUINED everything and WASN”T accurate to the character he was developed into by the end of The Headmasters series and the manga. Other six-changers are not in comparison here even, when you consider Sixshots GOALS and PERSONALITY. I really liked the concept of Unicron in the form of Sideways in Armada, because, as you mentioned here he was also able to separate into any pieces and change form, he also was getting force from hatred, which will be there… If to think of something new, the ultimate will be the one who has the most intelligence, as the one can invent the best body if needed and also find clever ways to beat any other one. In this case the closest one would be the last version of Sixshot before he changed into Greatshot.. but the thing is he wouldn’t even bother to be the best
