I am wondering what are your favorite memories of your childhood.

So if you have any cool/fun/good memories of your favorite childhood memories that you would be fine with sharing, go right ahead and post them.

We used to live in a neighborhood that had a few empty lots, and we would have territory wars over them. It would normally be girls vs boys. It was quite awesome. We made flags and everything. Good times.

that very first girl who came up to me asking me for my phone number. i was 11 years old. she was so innocent and cute. i told her we didn't have a phone so she just gave me hers instead. who would have known that that would evolve into an insurance policy of mine when dating.

my wife didn't give me a ball and chain. she got me a cellphone. my very first one. i've grown to like it. yeah.

Just hopping on my bike and riding - anywhere- it felt like total freedom at the time.

GIJoe and metal curtail hangers! I used to make zip lines with them and tie sewing thread to my 2nd floor window and then the other end to a bush below. I had so much fun with those.

Oh, and plastic army men wars me and my dad had. We had shoe missles, tv remote bombs, and kitty attack drones. awsome days! I miss being 7!

Since I had a heart condition as a kid and early teen, I wasn't really able to be active until I was like 14 or 15. So, naturally, I was indoors quite a bit and playing with my G1 Transformers was my most favorite thing to do. At the time, we were too poor to have a Nintendo, as I got one of those when I was like 16. Most of my most fond memories as a kid center around Transformers, though, as they really helped me get through some pretty depressing and lonely times in my childhood. I have so many fond ones, it's difficult to just pick one out and talk about it.

My family used to share a lake cabin with some family friends. So I remember every summer hanging out at the cabin. Playing outdoors, swimming, playing NES and listening to music.

That was when I first got exposed to 'grunge' music, and its still my favorite. Pearl Jam being number 1 baby!!! And every now and again I can still listen to 'Ten' by them and be reminded of playing Super Mario World on the SNES.....strange I tell ya! Strange

Visiting Target when I was 10 and seeing all those G1 Transformers really made my day. I wasn't able to buy any toys but seeing Dinobots and triplechangers was good enough for me. I was always disappointed when I had to leave. I didn't buy my first TF til years later when I got a Snapdragon.

Along those lines- being able to play video games and stay out and have fun with actually NOTHING else on my mind. Once I turned 16 and got a job, from then on out there was always SOMETHING on my mind besides just having fun, like how many hours of work whatever game I'm playing cost me.

When adults say 'These are the best days of your life' I totally understand where that that sentiment comes from.

Oh before I went to school I usually watched cartoons, Cheez TV had some of the very best during that time (X-Men TAS and Transformers) it was a shame when they were cancelled. :(

Also I used to like it whenever my Dad used to take me up to school in his car (which was only once during primary school).

I can't remember anything else if I do I'll post 'em

Seeing all of the best movies from the mid '70's thru the '80's. There were alot of wonderful dreams made up watching stuff like the Star Wars Trillogy, or Raiders of the Lost Ark for the first time. The Black Hole, Tron, Superman, Star Trek, Jaws, Nightmare on Elm St., Back to the Future, Beatlejuice, Ghostbusters, Rambo, Predator, Aliens, The Terminator, Footloose, Animal House, Caddyshack, St. Elmos Fire, and Transformers the Movie to name a bunch.

    Yup, those were good times.

    Loosing my virginty, goodbye transfomers

Waking up early Sat mornings to watch bugs bunny before going outside was always cool, and miss watching USA Cartoon Express while waiting for mom to cook dinner.

It was the simple everyday things I miss the most

Exploring my Grandpa's property with my brother and cousins, he had so much shit and old cars for stuff to hide. It felt like it spanned for miles.

TBH, I can't understand people who say the childhood is the best time of your life. I think it sucks, you can't buy anything you want, you are restricted by your parents in what you can do and where you can go, and you have to go to school.

Adult life is so much more fun and carefree for me, only downside is work and bills, but they're certainly not worse than school and having no money.

Eeeh, I might be making it sound like I had a horrible childhood or something, and that's definitely not the case, I was well looked after and wasn't unhappy at all, but it was just a bit boring and I longed for the freedom of adulthood.

Still, I have fond memories of getting chips and gravy after going to the swimming baths every Sunday, and also of the awesome cakes my mum used to make me on Birthdays. I had a couple of transformers ones and a castle greyskull one too, heheheh.

Memories from my childhood that I seem to recollect a lot are popping a wheeling for the first time, getting my Dukes of Hazard bike, playing catch with my dad in the backyard and riding my dog Harry. (I was 5 and he was a long hair sheep dog.)

I also remember getting into fights with my sisters because Transformers and the Brady Bunch would come on at the same time. DVR would have helped back then.
