I was like "holy shit... thats actually really cool"

 

Since it was leaked months before the movie released, it didn't shock me.

 

I was disappointed. I wanted it to be someone else....and then he didn't really do anything with that truck mode in the movie...it was a waste.

 

Yea. I found out around the time the movie was being filmed lol

 

I found out months before the movie thanks to the toys, and was instantly smitten with the idea that Megatron had the same type of alt mode as Optimus (and even more smitten with how Hasbro really went to town with the parallels in the Cyberverse toys).

A shame the movie didn't play up the 'equal footing' angle. I couldn't have been the only one hoping for Megs and OP to ram each other in a head-on collision.

 

That got leaked/spoiled for me, so I wasn't surprised.

 

I was all "fuck yes" 'n' shit.

 

Yeah, the leaked pics and toy models kind of ruined it for me.

The toy revile was all over the boards, and the front page. It was kinda hard to miss even if you didn't want to see it.

 

When I spoiled it for myself, I was actually suprised.

 

yeah i tried to stay away from spoilers (and i actually did a pretty good job) but i still looked for characters and vehicles, that to me isnt a very big deal.

 

I had already knew, but when he got onscreen, I was like "Hell yes, it's Megatron."

 

Too bad it wasn't used enough.

 

i didnt really think it was a bad ass truck; I was more like, "whats the truck from madmax doing in this?"

 

I was surprised. I was rooting for Nemesis Prime (NOT SCOURGE!)

 

I was disappointed. A truck for Megatron, I would have rather seen him as a helicopter of some sort. The noise of a chopper is far more ominous, fitting the Decepticon leader, who really needed something epic to keep him from being so pathetic. Alas.

 

Like I said a few times, I do wish they kept to his ROTF mode and just built on it instead of him fighting jetfire optimus which made him weaker, like replace his small gimpy arm and upgraded his weapons. Make his body much stronger to withstand the hits optimus will throw at megatron, and return to his more classic form of TF1, more agile and able to overpower optimus like TF1.
