What was your first "What was your first Transformer?" Thread?

    Mine was in 2005.

    Ah the memories.

My first Transforming robot was a Machine Robo. It later become Turbo.

I think it was Cliffjumper. No, Bluestreak. Or Prowl. Maybe Thundercracker.

I may have had a mini bot before this but I recall coming home one sunny day after school in 84 to a HUGE surprise.

My mother went out and bought me an Optimus Prime which was a lot of money even back in those days.

If he wasn't my first Transformer he truely was the one I remember as my first.

    Thanx

Armada Jetfire... Funny thing is, the only reason he's in such great condition (only missing his missles) is because of my bro. He convinced me to let it stay on a shelf while my other toys fought wars.

Does anyone remember what the MSRP's for the first wave of G1 toys were? My guess would be the following, but please correct me if I'm wrong:

    Autobot Cars: $10
    Decepticon Seekers: $15
    Minibots: $4-5
    Prime/Megatron/Soundwave: $20
    Cassettes: ??? ($7?)

I believe the first I ever got was Transmetal Fox Kids Waspinator, but I wasn't really into TF's at that time. The first I bought when I got into TF's were either RID Crosswise & WARS or Hot Shot & REV, I also remember having a lot of fun hunting down all the figures to form Ruination with my brother. Man, I wish I hadn't gotten rid of him. :(

My memory is a little fuzzy, but the first three transformers I remember owning when I was... 3? were Triceradon, the blue scavenger from Beast Machines, and Nightcruz.

Both Cybertron Deluxe Optimus Prime and Cybertron Supreme Primus were my very first Transformer figures in my collection, and as such I treasure them.

Me? I got my first two at once.

Xmas 2005. The TRU Starscream vs Vector Prime 2-pack. I was aggravated at Starscream's deco being mixed up, Vector Prime's deco being screwy (the dark red was WAY too dark), and the sorry lack of paint apps on Vector Prime. But still, awesome figures.

Then I received Cybertron Scourge as a birthday present. I wish I could find his axe... After that, there was nothing. Not until 2009. Then I bought a TF for myself for the first time. Cybertron Override off of eBay, loose complete, for $9.99 plus $4 shipping. I got her at retail price plus shipping four years later, and usually she's listed for much higher. Cybertron Optimus Prime was next, for a similarly good deal. Then there was an MOSC Cybertron Deluxe Megatron I bought by mistake. He'll be going on eBay (again) in a week or so, by the way. And... I'm sorry, I've been rambling. Would you like me to continue, or should I just shut up?
