If we're moving onto Blu-ray, first one was Cloverfield last Christmas.

VHS? Thinking back it was probably The Big Broadcast of 2006/Fight or Flee, Christmas 1989, a few weeks after we got our first VCR.

300 for BD here. I ordered Blade Runner first, but that had to come from the US since they didn't release the 5-disc set here.

My first DVD was the first Dragon Ball Z Capt. Ginyu DVD, released in the Summer of 2000. It was the first time that the DBZ TV series had been available uncut and subtitled in the US. At the time the only DVD player I had was on my computer.

First Blu Ray was The Simpsons Movie, which was a gift from my friend so my PS3 could have a Blu Ray.

Don't ask about my first VHS, it's been waaaaay too long and that kinda stuff didn't matter to me since I was probably all of 5 or 6 at the time. Or, I might be confusing that age with those old video disks from the late 70s/early 80s. We had one of those too, which I had Star Wars on.

I know most of my laserdiscs have the option of either Analog sound, or Digital Sound, but I think the Video is uncompressed Analog.

And I still listen to it. :thumbs2:  And I just got my first BDs the other day. Superman: Doomsday & the Adventures of Robin Hood. Which...are kind of pointless since Doomsday is animated and Robin Hood is in Black and White. :lol

My 1st Dvds were stolen back in 2001 when my apartment was robbed. I replaced all of them. My 1st Dvd player was also stolen at that point.

I THINK my 1st DVD was actually a few from Best Buy if I remember correctly. I bought The Rhino 86 TF Movie, Anastasia and the 1st two Pokemon Movies. This was some time in the Summer/Fall of 2000.

My 2nd DVD player, which was a Sony, I gave to a friend about 5 years ago and it still works. The one I replaced it with my parents use as I now use my PS3 and a stand alone BD player on my Tv's.
